70% of African American Women are single..Why?

70% of black women are single more than ANY other race of women....Why do you think this is?

Because alot are already single mothers of children by multiple daddys? And hey if they are that easy why marry them?

78% of black women are overweight( 50% are obese).

Why is this never mentioned when this question is asked? All the explanations are taking shots at black men and pointing to them as the problem. If black men are truly the problem then how come 70% percent of them aren't single? Also there are a lot of other races that exist on this earth. If there are no available black men, then why don't they date and marry men from other races? Is it that black women are so loyal/stubborn/stupid that they continue to hold out for a black men. Why?? According to a lot of black women, we're the scum of the earth. We're either locked up, gay, or only like white women( None of this is actually true,black women are no better than the Klan)? Why would you hold out for us? Maybe it's that men of other races aren't interested either( Again 78% of black women are overweight 50% are obese).

Most Black women are single cause there's a shortage of quality BLACK WOMEN.

Black women are the most self rightoues, hypocritical creatures on the planet. Nothing is their fault. They can't find or keep a man, and everyone in the whole wide world but black women are to blame, the media, hollywood, and black men.

I agree 100% with Tito78. You talk with blk women all day about what's wrong with a lot of blk men-but the moment you start examining the attitudes & the probs. of blk women the music stops. They rarely place the responsibility of the faults of ANY black woman on the shoulders of that woman. & IF you can get one to do so, they place the origin of the bad behavior on some black man in that woman's life somewhere. PLUS, why do they think having a NASTY attitude is a sign of strenght. How twisted! Its a sign that you broke down somewhere mentally. Its a difference between not puttin up with a cheating man & just being nasty to everybody around you. NO not ALL blk women are like this, but many. Blk men & blk wmem (overall) need to wk on a lot. Actually I agree with alot of what's been said here. But I can't tell you how many times a black man will complain about a black woman's weight and will get with a white/hispanic overweight woman. I hate to see black men or women taking shots at each other. It doesn't do anything.

I love the black woman as she is same as me and my family culture. If you men say nobody want the black woman, well i do. I am dark and you womean are lovely for me, Badeep, so send me the black women and i take them and love them all!!!

Black (ALL) women are scum. In this era, it is the man's fault for every wrong on Earth. I believe that a day is coming where for once all of the ills of the earth will point back to the true culprit, THE MOTHER. All of the abused sons, lonely men, neglected fathers, its all the woman's fault. These creature go through life with little to no true stress. They do not have to worry about measuring up. I am a black man in the my 30's, to this very day NOT ONE black woman has EVER approached me with anything other than hate and disrespect. I have no attraction to black women. They register as nothing in me. If black women want white men, they can have them. Women in general have dug a hole for themselves and men are paying the price. At some point the rubber band is gonna pop and the myth of the "empowered female" is going to die a horrible death. And never again will women ever be respected in the same way. I was at a Best Buy store on Friday evening purchasing a new cell phone. A (wannabe pimp) black man and two (rather overweight and loud) black women - each with a child about the same age in strollers - were behind me in line. This was in a solidly middle-class area, and it's a normally quiet store, so I was completely unprepared for what happened next.

Thanks to BB's computer crashing, the transaction was taking much longer than usual. I (well, the whole store, really) was able to hear the group arguing amongst themselves and got a fascinating insight to their personal lives. Apparently 'pops' was *both* of their baby's daddy, and they were friends who were arguing about who got more child support, who ruined who's credit, and who he was going to get a cell phone for. They were both swearing at the top of their lungs and threatening to 'whoop the shit out of' their children for daring to try and escape their strollers. Apparently they got fed up that my 'white ass was taking so long' and walked out to eat at the Burger King next door.

My wife caught part of this exchange (she had been next door but came over before I was finished) and we talked about it in the car on the way home. We both wondered why these two women would subject themselves to getting pregnant by the same man who obviously had no intention of marrying (or staying true to) either one of them. Since we doubted either of them had decently paying jobs, perhaps they had the babies for financial stability (i.e., support, welfare, etc.)?

More than anything else, I felt sorry for the kids. They're obviously verbally abused - possibly physically - and they're going to grow up just as screwed up as their mothers because of it.

Black men are a bunch of fools. Every other person from other countries come over here and do better then you. You want to be like the so called pimps and thugs you see on tv. You don't own anything. The problem is not white vs. black women..the problem is American women. Did you know 2/3 to 3/4 of all American divorces are filed by women. The divorse rate between 2 Americans is 50-60% and in Cali it is as high as 75%. Compare that to a divorce rate between an American/foriegner at 10-20%. Also studies show women are more satisfied w/ the outcomes of divorce (financialy/custody) than men are.
If you are an American man think about marrying a foreigner...and you are better off w/ someone who was born and raised in another country (except for western countries). Women from other countries (Mexico, COlumbia, Poland etc.) will respect you as a man and they will NOT use sex as a weapon like American women do. Look it up on the net and you will be confinced to marry a foreigner.

Exactly What I'm saying. Its not all men who have this problem. Its the american men. Not black or white pink or browm its all about ones culture and how they were raised.
