So where is the ER when State Legislature assemblymen are now asking the Attorney General (jerry Brown) to decide if their is legal grounds for having the state commission's decision that regulates their pay and per diem, having their decision to lower their pay by 18% overturned as unconsitutional. Where is the paper that is supposed to protect the electorate, inform the electorate, of such an selfish and deliberate abuse of power. They (the legislature) has an 17% approval rating, and they want MORE money for their jobs. When does the press get some balls and start standing up to this behavior by demanding action of it's readers?

"even the Butte Environmental Council"!
Thanks for the dubious praise for BEC's decade long struggle to advocate for the water that sustains the Sac valley environment and economy. Only BEC has been willing to challenge the water buffalo in court.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Virgo

Mercury is turning retrograde at just the right time, because it's telling you to consider the validity of your long-term aims and aspirations. If they stand about as much chance of seeing the light of day as you do of winning the Lottery, then you need to streamline them or even abandon them and start again. So think about what you want from life and how you're going to get it. Children and romance may be quite erratic during this phase.
