Ok this is total BS. Being a spoiled rich girl gets you a free ride out of jail? I have read this and other stories that states how she was crying blah blah blah.. What makes her any different from the other women jailed for small things? Money is all.. I told a friend that she wouldnt spend even a day.. I apologized to him today and said wow I was wrong she only had to do Three... House arrest my ass.

IT JUST GOES TO SHOW THAT MONEY CAN BUY YOU ANYTHING.... WHAT A SAD SHAME FOR OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM....WHAT A TERRIBLE EXAMPLE THAT IT SETS FOR OUR CHILDREN, "WITH MONEY, YOU ARE ABOVE THE LAW AND MONEY SPEAKS HIGHER THEN JUSTICE"

Perhaps a suspended sentence until Paris is well would be a better option, then when well, she could serve her sentence as ordered by the courts. Unfortunately, the people in power in So.CA. were blinded by Political Ambitions (MONEY! MONEY! MONEY!) and have made a decision that reflects that influence. The really sad thing is what this says about the concept of "Justice for All". THERE IS NO JUSTICE with this kind of special treatment. The People of the State of CA. should DEMAND BETTER, and show that demand by not voting for confirmation of these weak Judges, and re-election of weak Politicians at the Voting Booths. The Sheriff of L.A. County runs the Jail, he should be held accountable for this decision when he runs for re-election. I wonder who else is getting "Paid" for their "consideration" in these matters? The whole thing stinks, CA. Criminal Justice has become the laughing stock of the WORLD since the O.J. Simpson Murder Case. It won't be long before this state will not be fit to live in.
WE ARE SENDING THE WRONG MESSAGE TO OUR CHILDREN!
WE ARE SENDING THE WRONG MESSAGE TO CRIMINALS!

No way should she have gotten to go to a half way house. She did tne "crimes" she should do the time. No matter what the H@$% is wrong with her. I don't get how there is no such thing as justice when you have a bank roll or own the bank. What a said day this state is becoming and shame on the judge. Making all of us Californias look like idiots.

I feel that Paris being put on house arrest is unfair to others that break the law.She should be put in a halfway house to finish out her time that she was given by the courts. Not her own home where she has everything she needs.I feel that by doing this she will not have learned the lesson of drinking and driving so many are injured or killed by this.

Nice that everyone here feels the same way. Instead of posting here possibly we should be attempting to send this type of information to our congressman or the Gov??

I cannot believe this. There are many people with "medical conditions" in jail or prison and are not released. How about the women that are pregnant or give birth in the facilities. I think she is just too rich to do her time. I guess money talks and she walks. I like Paris, but she did the crime. This does not make the judicial system look any better. I bet there are a lot of people in jail that are very upset. I wish they would really reconsider. This really doesnt look right. When celebrities with money, break the law, they get away with it. A normal citizen pays with more than money, their time and lives.

I am a 25 year olf female that does not think it is okay to drink and drive, but I think everyone should just get over what money can do. If anyone was in Paris's position they would to use their fortune to get them out of things. Everyday a rich indvidual uses there money to get what they want. We would all do the same thing if we were Paris leave the girl alone. No reason to be jealous of ones lifestyle. She has to live with it, Not us!

Do the crime--do the time! What makes her so special? What happened to accountability? Doesn't she have enough money to pay a chaffeur. We should treat like Merlin treated the sorceress--witch Queen (spelling?)'Maab?' Ignore her stupidity until she fades from memory!!
