There is alot of proof against her though.She made predictions that did not come true.God tells us in the scriptures that the way you tell a false profit is if only one prediction does not comes true.Im certainly not going to start lowering the standard of Gods word to help her out.go to ellenwhiteexposed.com .In all sincerity I have looked at these web sites and have read true testimonies.There not out to hurt anyone there just telling what they have studied for themselves,in all fairness.As far as copying other peoples books when has that ever been honorable? Whether it be a paragraph,a page or the book she wrote about Paul,apparently it was almost an entire book,so much so she suppresed it because she was in danger of a lawsuit.

You don't know who you are reading from. It could be over ten different other people she copied from and what were they all about ? You never know where she got her words. She copied so much and used God to sell her little books.

If Ellen G. White was a false prophet, as per their claim, why would non seventh-day adventists so ardently continue posting their supposition on a topical seventh-day adventist forum?

Why would it matter, if every seventh-day adventist is an agent of Satan and deceived by a false prophet named Ellen G. White and beyond redemption?

They fear seventh-day adventists and Ellen G. White, because if we're right and their wrong they've rejected a prophet and committed the unpardonable sin by grieving the Holy Spirit.

Make no mistake, it's not the truth you hear when you read their rant against Ellen G. White, it's fear.

Verm, have you ever thought that some people love and care for the sda people and want them to know the truth ? It matters greatly if your loved ones follow a false prophet with a strange understanding of what the Gospel of Jesus Christ is all about. A true Christian loves and cares about people. Please rethink.

That's for sure. They know that they made a very bad mistake and rather than take it to Jesus and confess their sins, they swing wildly.

1) There was no danger of a lawsuit.
2) She didn't suppress it--the print run ran out and the plates were worn out.
3) There isn't a single paragraph, much less a page (and neither would be enough to call it plagiarism) that is the same. I compared ALL of Sketches with ALL of Conybeare and Howson and then with ALL of Farrar's work. NONE of the critics have ever done that.
