First off you can't judge all of America because of one crazy guy devising the most successful "bait and switch" scam of all time.

Second off It doesn't look like France can Ban Scientology....at least not yet.

"last month the French courts were alerted to a little-noticed legal change voted in by parliament in May, the month the trial opened, which barred French courts from dissolving an organisation convicted of fraud."

Banning is totally unnecessary. It is collapsing very, very fast. There is pretty much nothing left there to ban.

Agreed. A ban would only make them martyrs. They need to collapse of their own volition, and they're doing a great job of it.

Are you really sorry for some idiots who give so much money for some gimmick?

Some people you have to protect from themselves!!

Scientology is a good scam!! No need of violence to rob people: they give their cash voluntarily.

If you make it impossible for the Scientology Corporation to swindle, defraud, intimidate and abuse its members, there would be little reason to ban it.

Force it to operate legally and ethically (real ethics, not Ethics[tm]) and those in charge will drop it like a hot stone and move on to something else.

Whats that? The Wall didn't work and Hitler went right through it? You would still likely be under occupation if not for the US and Russia? You're irrelevant, be as mad you as want about it.

Go ahead. I would NEVER go to France. It's the country of feygs and prostitutes.
I'll stay here in Minnesota, even though it also sucks. But I know what to expect here.
Admit it! You can't afford to visit France. There again, I have visited the US on many occasions on business. Met some really nice people. Having said that I was always happy to return to civilization. No guns/no rat race/no nead to lock doors/no looking over your shoulder.

Haha whoa whoa...when did this turn into a thread of hate? I merely stated I enjoyed the art form of Parkour.....sorry if that came across wrong. As stated by Raymond us Americans move kinda slow(in the head). If only I could afford to visit France.....in not only for the Croissants.

Why? What have French Muslims done?

Now the Cult of scientology on the other hand has committed fraud and been found guilty of it. That's the merest of what they've been upto.

This thread is kind of irrelevant anyway since France does not have the capacity in law to dissolve the organisation and bannign the group would force them to continue in the shadows, as the Judge rightly pointed out. Which you'd know if you'd read the article.

Perhaps you should rephrase that and ask the question what have Muslims done?

I have no issues with the French.

Scientology is no better than Islam. They are both as bad as each other.

In fact, the next two days or so may be rather intense, so plan to exercise your frustration today. It isn't that anyone has done anything wrong, it's just that it seems you are working very hard but not getting anywhere. That isn't really true, you know. Have faith.
