My God, how could Israel allow this fraudulent "religion", this cult that bleeds its members dry and destroys families, to get a foothold in Israel. Doesn't Israel have enough problems without having it's most vulnerable citizens proselitized (sp). We don't need to lose Jews, we need to strengthen our Jewishness!

This proves the scientology is not a religion. No Jew, Orthodox or Reformed, could or would rationalize having two religions and worship two supreme beings. Jews have a culture, religion,and DNA that goes back 4,000-5,0000 years ago, and are proud and passionate about maintaining and nurturing their Judaism. Perhaps they see scientology as a psychological tool or business plan, but no, they don't consider it to be a religion. They may attend scientology "love-fests" but they will still worship in their beloved temples with their rabbis as they have done for many thousands of years. I have always worried a bit about Israel existing as a one-religion country (no separation of temple and state) but I'm really surprised that the rabbis are putting up with scientology. Really? Come on, Israel, you know better--there are more scientists and scholars per square inch in Israel than any other country. You are the chosen people (according to the Christians), and you were not chosen for a cult like scientology. Besides have you forgotten about the maniacal rantings of a screaming, evil little white man who through his writing and speeches rose to power, brainwashed a whole population, forced young people to wear uniforms and work for the cult, told lies, stole money, acquired lots of real estate, and then murdered 6,000,000 Jews and Gypsies , 3,000,000 homosexuals and 1,000.000 people with mental or physical deficiencies, "quietly, and without remorse" (Hubbard, L. Ron, 1955)?
