How in the world did a 12 year old just up and find out she's a woodbane when the 7 clans are just a theory? And how come every little girl that finds out they're decendants from a clan finds out they're woodbane? People get too caught up in the sweep series.
hi paige i think its reallt cool you are woodbane and you are not ashamed you shouldnt be. jut make sure you make the right decision because woodbanes once practiced evil. i hope you have a grand time while practicing wicca.
sincerely,

Okay, these "7 Great Clans" are an element of a modern fictional book series. People are actually taking this seriously???

Look at the ages of most of the "believers" - early to mid teens. It's a time when reality begins to look so bland, that one wants to believe that the fantastical is real. The realization that these things aren't "real" no matter how much you wish or want to believe they are is one of the hardest steps to maturity. If it happens badly, it can lead to severe cynicism, that can take years to get over. When they never get over it, it can lead to some of the whacky "fluffy bunny" new-age malarky that is evidenced with the plastic shaman who cooked a bunch of people who spent thousands for a "magical" transformation in a sweat lodge.

The 7 great clans is a myth that I'm almost 100% sure you learned about from Sweep. Please, just stop with the none sense and if you're going to take an interest in wicca, take it seriously. Next thing you know you're going to be telling me you can spout fire from your finger at boys who try to have sex with your little sister.

Apparently. I'll admit that series is what made me interested in wicca, but I researched for years. I didn't just decide I wanted to be a "woodbane" and start calling myself a witch like they did. I didn't consider myself Wiccan until I was turned 16, two years after I came across wicca.

Just Google Witchcraft, Pagan, Celtic, Wicca or any other word you think might be relevant and there is lots of information and anything you might need out there.

Look, hon, the books are FICTION. F I C T I O N . This means you are not a "bloodwitch" or a "rowanwand" any more than you can go to school at Hogwarts. Someone wrote a story from their imagination. I'm sure it's a good book, and very entertaining, and wonderful to fantasize about, but it is all make-believe. Not real.

If you have actual psychic abilities, you might want to contact a local paranormal group. But you are not a character in a book, no matter how much fun that might be.
