Halloween Candy Demonic: CBN

Full story: snafu-ed.blogspot.com

To be honest, it's true that many consider Halloween a pagan holiday, but come on. It's truly a darned excuse for children to go out and get some candy. In fact, do you know one of the reasons that the U.S. pushed back DST in the fall until after Halloween? It's because the candy manufacturers had been lobbying for years over it.

That's all true..on halloween when i was a kid we were real mean!!! we would go out and turn over toilets, turn over shock fodder, throw endgate rods into ponds, take wagons apart and re assemble them on top of barns, take town signs and switch them,.. take cows and put them in school houses over night, put fence posts across the roads, take skunk bags and put them over school house doors so they would bust when the teachers would open the door of a morning, put cow manure in the teachers car seats,.. put snakes in the teachers drawers,..open gates so neighbors cows would get out,..and a few minor things like that,..we didn't go trick or treating because nobody had any candy.

Halloween is for fun, if anyone has a problem with it then do not let your kids dress up.

Actually, the DST change makes Halloween suck. It doesn't begin until it is dark, so another hour of evening light shortens it all by an hour. Why would candy manufacturers destroy the Holiday that way? Instead of 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, you either have to start while the sun is still out some or start at 7:00 PM now.

Actually, the dressing up is not what they see as the problem. It is what is being celebrated. And some churches even have a problem with the concept of a "Fall festival" held at a different time slot, saying that it is still recognizing a "Satanic" holiday.

I don't see what the problem is, really. If you don't want to have a seance, conjure up the dead, play with a Ouija board, then don't do those things. If you don't want your kids playing in the street or eating all the candy in one night and puking it up the rest of the night, then don't let them. If you don't want to get drunk that night, then don't drink. Nobody is making anyone do anything, unless you are a really mean person or have mean kids and you have to clean up your yard because someone exacted some revenge and used that night as an excuse. And if you don't want kids at your door, then don't turn on the porch light. Or, I guess someone could put up pedophile warning signs to keep the kids away.

I'm no fan of Halloween but damn, demons, witches and curses? Sounds like Pentecostal or Charismatic propaganda.

The Pentecostal/Charismatic crowd is in itself a cult as it is a demonic offshoot of mainstream Christianity.

They speak to demons and talk to them in prayer more than any Satan worshipers or witches ever did. Look at their TV sermons since the 1960's.

Demons working through halloween candy is scare tactic. The speaker may be sincere but none the less it is a scare tactic, the speaker fell for it at some point and believed it so may not necessarily be the source but spreads it none the less.

Candy pre-existed halloween by so many thousands of years so there is no such thing as halloween candy and is propaganda. It is the same candy the day before as it is the day after.

Candy can be employed on halloween but there is no halloween candy.

I'm sure candy manufactures would love to get a legal piece of CBN because of the reference to most halloween candy being prayed over by witches.

Imagine so many millions of ignorant people thinking of those companies as having witches on the payroll doing their voodoo on the assembly line. Lol.

I am so sick of religious fear mongering because it trashes all points of faith and those who represent true points of faith.

Fear of demons, witches and curses is a major socio-religious weapon and tool in the offshoot cults of mainstream Christianity when there is only one thing in existence to fear and that is God and even the fearmongering persons own bible says so.

Of course Halloween candy is demonic, in a secular kind of way. My refrigerator is haunted by Milky Way and Three Musketeers bars, and if that isn't imperiling my eternal soul those evil presences sure are imperiling my teeth and girth.

I need an exercism with a personal trainer at my local gym. Praiz!

If the candy is possessed, it won't be once I chew it and bite off the heads of any demons in it.

Big deal. Kids love to go trick or treating. Big deal. Iria is a odd person to complain about it. Or complain about a blogger on CBN. That's stupid. A blogger? That is like complaining about one cow out of a herd. Totally irrelevant, just a "shock" article that never happened. Why is he or she listing articles on this website?

Uh, sorry but I disagree with the idea that this rubbish came from a member of the Pentecostal/Charasmatic community. I love Halloween and am also Pentecostal. My church is having a harvest festival and has made no foolish comments regarding Halloween. The blogger appears to me to be from the paranoid/delusional/too stupid to think for one's self crowd. Furthermore, I don't think you're the most brightly lit jack o'lantern yourself due to your claim that the Pentecostal/Charasmatic movement is a cult. There can be cult-like behavior in any denomination/religion/societal grouping...spreading fear is certainly not acceptable and neither is painting a diverse group with one broad brush.

The original definition of the word "cult" referred to odd or sinister practices, whereas the modern interpretation refers to new versions of religions, and in that context all forms of pentecostal strands are indeed "cults".

CBN or whoever should have taken all the cash they used to produce that little piece of dogma and donatd to the local food bank.....thye probably didn't because they previously found out they had served "Devil Dogs" there.

Last Sunday I made a big pot of pinto beans with chorizo and washed it down with Ballentine ale for dinner.

Something was haunted because the odors I began emitting a few hours reeked like brimstone.

No kidding. Do some research on her. She had an abortion when she was 15, but is, of course, against abortion. She also has to wear a strait jacket when she talks about homosexuals. She becomes abosolutely rabid. Makes me suspect she's gay.

You have a one track mind today, dear Pisces, and it's running along very ambitious lines, absolutely determined to achieve something you've been attempting for ages. Can you be so committed that you're prepared to let everything else go by the wayside for the time being? That's great, but don't become obsessive about it.
