1 Actually, the dressing up is not what they see as the problem. It is what is being celebrated. And some churches even have a problem with the concept of a "Fall festival" held at a different time slot, saying that it is still recognizing a "Satanic" holiday. I don't see what the problem is, really. If you don't want to have a seance, conjure up the dead, play with a Ouija board, then don't do those things. If you don't want your kids playing in the street or eating all the candy in one night and puking it up the rest of the night, then don't let them. If you don't want to get drunk that night, then don't drink. Nobody is making anyone do anything, unless you are a really mean person or have mean kids and you have to clean up your yard because someone exacted some revenge and used that night as an excuse. And if you don't want kids at your door, then don't turn on the porch light. Or, I guess someone could put up pedophile warning signs to keep the kids away. |

1 The Pentecostal/Charismatic crowd is in itself a cult as it is a demonic offshoot of mainstream Christianity. They speak to demons and talk to them in prayer more than any Satan worshipers or witches ever did. Look at their TV sermons since the 1960's. Demons working through halloween candy is scare tactic. The speaker may be sincere but none the less it is a scare tactic, the speaker fell for it at some point and believed it so may not necessarily be the source but spreads it none the less. Candy pre-existed halloween by so many thousands of years so there is no such thing as halloween candy and is propaganda. It is the same candy the day before as it is the day after. Candy can be employed on halloween but there is no halloween candy. I'm sure candy manufactures would love to get a legal piece of CBN because of the reference to most halloween candy being prayed over by witches. Imagine so many millions of ignorant people thinking of those companies as having witches on the payroll doing their voodoo on the assembly line. Lol. I am so sick of religious fear mongering because it trashes all points of faith and those who represent true points of faith. Fear of demons, witches and curses is a major socio-religious weapon and tool in the offshoot cults of mainstream Christianity when there is only one thing in existence to fear and that is God and even the fearmongering persons own bible says so. Plus, you can read the story in Googles cached page of it by searching for the dangers of celebrating halloween |

1 If the candy is possessed, it won't be once I chew it and bite off the heads of any demons in it. |

The original definition of the word "cult" referred to odd or sinister practices, whereas the modern interpretation refers to new versions of religions, and in that context all forms of pentecostal strands are indeed "cults". |

1 “Most of the candy sold during this season has been dedicated and prayed over by witches,” Daniels wrote. “Curses are sent through the tricks and treats of the innocent whether they get it by going door to door or by purchasing it from the local grocery store. The demons cannot tell the difference.” SO NOW THEY KNOW. |

CBN or whoever should have taken all the cash they used to produce that little piece of dogma and donatd to the local food bank.....thye probably didn't because they previously found out they had served "Devil Dogs" there.

1 Last Sunday I made a big pot of pinto beans with chorizo and washed it down with Ballentine ale for dinner. Something was haunted because the odors I began emitting a few hours reeked like brimstone. |

2 No kidding. Do some research on her. She had an abortion when she was 15, but is, of course, against abortion. She also has to wear a strait jacket when she talks about homosexuals. She becomes abosolutely rabid. Makes me suspect she's gay. |
