Problem with this is most women of the FLDS do not want to be saved from that religious place. This is all they know! With their deep religious beliefs,it would be very hard to unbrainwash these women. It could be done! But then the questions start, who would do the unbrainwashing? Which religion? How do you sponsor someone to teach the women and children of their human rights and freedoms in the USA? It would take special people who have been trained in this and know what they are doing. Plus all the money this would take. Would these women and children be better off after leaving this cult? With the USA economy at a low, where would the money come from? What would be done to keep the men of the FLDS away from these women? And the questions go on and on.Save the women and children from this place.
They are entitled to a life, not slavery.

I know what you are saying, yank. However, we as American's know it is wrong.
I'm not saying any religious affiliation would un-brainwash these women. They need deep therapy, perhaps for years. This might at least help the children as this has gone on for so many generations. Yes, they would be better if they left, there are programs to help with money and food for them. There are laws to keep the men away too. |

Binah aka Hannah Rebekah, how is trying to blame this on the Baptists showing wisdom? I know you love attention and another chance to copy and paste something, so have at it. I think we will go out after my spouse wakes up, so I guess I won't be cooking after all. How about you? |

At least the Baptists don't worship "man" like mormons do. They worship God. |

Most Baptists will treat their women better too!! A woman has the rights and freedoms that the Bible offers. |
|
Anyone can also go into any Baptist church also.
They don't build these big expensive buildings and just allow certain people to enter like the mormons do. What a waste of time and money. |

Yes anyone can go into most Baptist Churches. The part about them not building big expensive buildings...I do know of some Baptist Churches that are big and expensive. Probably not not the scale of the FLDS compound..Big White Temple. There is so many branches of Baptist Churches. |
Compare the Chapel on the grounds of Southwestern University and the Chapel at UMHB. Then go look at Second Baptist in Houston, a megachurch. Then look up Lakewood's new megachurch in the former Compaq Center that has now gone through a multi-million dollar renovation. All I know is that the Osteens always extend a welcome to everyone to come worship at Lakewood. If there were Lost Boys, I am fairly certain they could receive help from Lakewood. |

Binah is wrong again. This mess was not created by the Baptist Church. Does lying become you, BinahBaptistHater? |

Does anybody really still care about this?

There was lots of whining yesterday. I think I will let them post all day before I read. |
