Most of the comments I see, come from people in a state where the children have more rights than the parents anyway. The kids have more rights than the parents in California. At least in Texas we are trying to protect all of the innocent, convict the guilty, and for the guilty, give them the MAX.

Binah wrote: History Lesson "For some considerable time before the birth of Jesus, the Temple in Jerusalem had maintained two separate boarding schools, one for boys and one for girls, which were administered and taught by the High Priests. The male graduates were destined to become priests at the Temple, rabbis or leading members of the community. All pupils at these schools were drawn from important families of proven Levitic descent. Priesthood in ancient Jerusalem was a hereditary function and all priests were of the tribe of Levi, whose members were allowed to marry outside the tribe with the exception of one family group, the Cohens. They were bound by law and custom to marry others from the same family, and it was from their ranks that all High Priests were drawn. The 24 High Priests of the Herodian Temple in Jerusalem were the apex of the hierarchy of the Jewish religion. They alone had the supreme resposibility and privelege of being allowed to enter into the Holy of Holies, the inner sanctum of the Temple, and on ceremonial occasions they would stand in ascending order of rank on the Temple steps. These men were, for ritual purposes, known by the names accorded to their rank; for example there was a Melchizedek and a Gabriel, all resounding names drawn from the archangels, angels and pivotal figures from the religious history of the Jews. The traditions of these schools seem strange. The High Priests were not only responsible for the instruction of their highborn pupils but, when the young girls attained child bearing age, for their impregnations as well. The fate of the children of such unions is central to the story. The pregnant girls would be found suitable husbands among the highborn of Israel, which apparently contradicted Jewish customs of the time. These marriages were arranged on one invocable condition, that the child born of the union with the priest would, at the age of seven, be returned to the appropriate Temple School for education. In this manner the hereditary principle of the royal priesthood was ensured and the bloodlines were kept pure. One pupil at the girl's school was Mariam, or Mary as she is know to history, the daughter of an earlier pupil named Anne. Mary was impregnated by the High Priest known as Gabriel and, when her pregnancy was confirmed, a marriage was arranged for her. She rejected the first man chosen to be her husband, and so another suitable candidate had to be selected by lot from among other appropriate families. This was a young man of Davidic descent, Joseph of Tyre, whose ancestor was Hiram, King of Tyre, this wealthy young man is known to us as St Joseph. The child of the union was Jesus who, after spending the years of his early childhood in Egypt, returned to Jerusalem and in his turn attended the Temple School. I'm happy to know that Binah is also Hannah Rebekah. Are there other alter egos for you?

Binah wrote: A great Jewish tenet is to not exult in an enemy's demise. The civilized countries now face enemies of such savagery that it may be hard to live up to this one. When the Israeli army knocks out a bloody terrorist in a precision strike, I admit to feeling a certain elation. Still, Judaism's concern is to civilize us, not just in the fundamental ways expressed in the Ten Commandments but in more mundane ways as well, and being civilized means striving to be as different from cruel enemies as possible. Exulting in someone's demise or death risks impairing our basic humanity and morality. The same would apply to taking pleasure in, say, the fall of an odious business or political rival. Or in this case the demise of an unpopular religion through wholesale slander without regard to basic rights. So, is this alter ego of yours "Jewish" or "Jewish" sympathizer? What is your connection to Israel? Have you ever been there?

levelhead wrote: <quoted text> Where do you get the impression that the child protection services are in the business of restoring kids to their parents? From all the articles in the case there is only a mention of the judge deciding whether the parents can petition the court for the custody of the kids. The judge deciding? The parents being allowed to petition for their own kids? Insane! Scenario: A 16 year old girl gets pregnant by a 19 year old boy. After the discovery of her pregnancy she states she was really coerced into the act. Does the state go in and puts her into custody, when she has the baby, puts the baby into custody? Does the young man get charged with statutory rape? Are parents held responsible and have to fight for the return of their daughter and grandchild? How do they deal with it in Texas? Phone them up and ask them instead of opening your mouth. IT IS THE BUSINESS OF CHILD PROTECTION SERVICES to get families back together. If you can't handle that, we have nothing further to talk about, you're wrong! Judges decide the legal items of custody, and CHild protection services investigates, with the child out of the home until it is proven safe, whether the child is in danger or not. Counseling is offered immediately to the parents once danger has been established. The family begins counseling together with the goal of getting together. The same is true of drug-dependent abaies- they are removed from the family immediately, then, placed in foster care. If the parents rehabilitate, they can get their baby back. If not, the baby stays in the system. Your scenario is ludicrous. Why would the police throw the mother into jail? The father? absolutely! Read the news, fathering a baby to a girl under 18 is illegal. The statute of limitations for filing charges is about 6 years. Men have been prosecuted right in Chico for fathering babies though usually the age difference is more than 3 years. That is why mothers under 18 file "UNK" (for unknown) on the birth certificate- the father is no good to them in jail.

I have no problem with you having an opinion, but your alters try to silence people or intimidate them into leaving and that is just wrong. BTW Willie worshipping and following Joseph Smith into polygamy. How does that make you feel?

I'm bewildered, I have one alias and you come undone about it and you have multiple personalities and that's ok? Is BinahIsWrong your angry personality? What is this a double standard. I could care less about who Willie worships...maybe you should do the same...you seem to care way too much about things that are not your business?? Do you know what a busybody is??? Do you know what a gossip monger is?

I wonder if the failure to report child abuse indictment is for a female or male. It seems like waiting on the arrests has turned the clocks to going slow. I know the day will come when I will look at the news or topics and there it will be. There can also be more indictments to come, so stay tuned. I saw plenty of kids get ordered out of their homes during court proceedings through Juvenile Probation. I don't know why people believe that home is ALWAYS the best place for kids. I could try explaining how the process works, seeing it firsthand, but it is too tedious and people here tend to not get it anyway.
