Some folks will make up anything nasty and call it a religion so the government/authorities will leave you alone and let the nasty perverts get away with molesting children, and have the law on their side. Why is this???? Something needs to be done about this crap!!!

Or just maybe, religion fosters such tawdry actions in people.
After all- religion is simply a system created by men to subjugate women.
It's a small step from there to abusing women.
Show me a religion where the women rule the men and I'll eat dirt.

I can't believe people get so upset about "puppy mills", plus the ones that run them are arrested for abusing animals, and this goes on with human children and they think it is ok.

I wish people would get informed before they blindly follow what the news and law enforcement say.

First off...

The original raid was spared by a warrant. That warrant included the warrant for the arrest of a man.

That warrant has now been thrown out as the claim was a prank phone call.

Secondly. The original claim of 31 teens has been shown to be false. The state lied to save face.

The number is 3.

One of those is a 24 year old woman that has shown proof she is 24 through her lawyert and the state still refuses to let her go.

Another is a 26 year old woamn who has a 10 year old kid. In 2005 the law changed and the legal age of consent was made 17. Before 2005 the legal age was 16 and it was 14 with the signature of a parent. Throw in her "husband" is only 3 years older than her.....

The last girl is believed to be 17. She is about 6 months pregnant and will not say who the dad is.

So at the worst... we have one girl who was raped by an adult, MAYBE!

So... since 250,000 girls under the age of 17 het pregnant in the US each year... it is clear that these people with the strange religion are being persecuted as we do not seize those 250,000 girls.

Throw in that it has been 41 days and nobody has been charged with a crime.... and clearly this is looking like persecution and a violation of civil rights no matter how wacky the rest of us see these people's religious beliefs.

Time and DNA will tell the whole story.
I am sure that all the evidence hasn't made the news.
Why did the men run and not take the DNA??

No one has to be charged with a crime to lose custody of their children. I know you have led a sheltered life, so I hate to be the one to break the news to you.
I hope this turns into 42 years before they are able to see the children again.
Yes, if I were an unfit parent in Ohio my children would be taken from me also. So don't feel so special.

LDS must be protecting those men. Not FLDS, LDS. LDS is a very powerful church, they are embarrassed by this and want it swept under the rug, and they are getting their way. The Texas authorities are caving, no men will ever be arrested, or maybe one or two as scapegoats.

If you want to see the real guilty parties, look to Salt Lake City. Brigham Young in Salt Lake was the one who came up with the idea of LDS polygamy, which is all the FLDS folks are, "old-time" LDS religionists, following Young's dictates.
