A plea to all my fellow witnesses

I am making a general response because there are too many posts to respond to.
I would like to implore all of my fellow brothers and sisters to put down your mouse and pick up your Bible.
The society does not want any of us on these sites. So why are you not obeying them? The majority of witnesses on here are unhappy with their congregation and many are lonely and so they come here. Also, in most cases if you are coming to these sites, you are not the most spiritually strong person, are you? Be honest with yourself. I am asking you to stop and think about what you are doing. What I personally witnesses by disagreeing with thirdwitness stunned me. I was accused of being an apostate for simply disagreeing with thirdwitness who used to be an apostate, and now all of a sudden is not.

Thirdwitness used to be a following of Robert King, just like many of you are followers of thirdwitness. Robert King is the "ewatchman", a hardcore apostate. Robert King was not always an apostate, in fact many of his writings from years ago were a source of encouragement for many Jehovahs Witnesses. What happened? Years later, just like thirdwitness he had a group of followers that hung on his every word. What made Robert King an apostate is exactly what will happen to thirdwitness. In the near future, the body of elders and thirdwintesses hall will talk to him and tell him to stop what he is doing, just like they did with Robert King. And just like Robert King, thirdwitness will not be able to be humble, nor will he be able to accept the council. So he will be disfellowshipped, just like Robert King. This will cause thirdwitness to turn against the governing body, just like Robert King did. And then just like thirdwitness did, many of you will follow him into his apostasy. Thirdwitness followed Robert King and turned against the governing body.

This is the unforgivable sin. Why does thirdwitness think that he is forgiven? I have no idea. But that is between thirdwitness and Jehovah. Perhaps this is why thirdwitness goes overboard in defending the society. Perhaps he feels like he has to make up for his apostasy against the Governing Body.

So I implore all of you fellow witnesses out there, put down your mouse, pick up the Bible. Stop following thirdwitness. Is it really worth possibly turning against the Governing Body? Why would you take such a stupid risk?

Many of you will deny following thirdwitness. But you are, because what was clear is that some of you who accused me of being an apostate did not even read my posts, but turned on me, not by what i said, but simply because I disagreed with thirdwitness. Deep down some of you know this is the truth.

My position was twisted and misrepresented by thirdwitness. And I will state it one final time. The subject was usage of the name Jehovah. I clearly indicate in my posts that I personally do not have any issue with using the word Jehovah. I use it daily in prayer. My REAL POINT was that thirdwitness was not debating honestly. A person can EASILY debate honestly on this subject because the name Jehovah is an accepted translation by many scholars. Just because Tacan Dan disagrees it doesnt make it ok to use dishonest debating tactics like logial fallicies against his argument. Is Tacan Dan wrong? I believe he is. But if I were going to debate him, I would do so a way that befits a Christian, and that is HONESTLY, WITH RESPECT. Anything else brings reproach on Jehovah!

This will be my last post here. I came here because I found it to be entertaining, but its not worth it. So I ask, one final time, please, stop following thirdwitness. if you want a proper witness message board go to touchstone forum.

(To any "apostates" I want to say I do not mean to disrespect you personally when writing this, I know we disagree with fundamental issues. We will never agree on that stuff, but we can at least show respect to each other as human beings. No offense meant.)

Why do apostates come here? Because they are evil, have no life, sorry they left because now their families don't even want to be around them, they've said so much that they've hurt their families, etc. etc...so they are here taking it out on JW's and showing just how miserable they are.

What entertainment... when it's rainy and cold outside. We can pull up a chair at the computer with some popcorn and hot chocolate and watch the apostates "whine song". LOL!!!

First of all I am far from lonely and second I am happy that I serve Jehovah, ActiveJw I have no idea who's leg you are trying to pull but its not working.I don't follow 3W I just admire how he defends God and does not compromise, or dilute Jehovah's word.I don't need to hang around friends who are always doupting, insecure, and confussed, You are sitting on a fence.With friends like you I do not need a knife in my back.I would have more respect 4 u if you would just come out the closet and keep it real.

I know this wasn't the main thrust of what you wanted to say but it's so important that please forgive my interruption here.
You stated that turning against the governing body is is the unforgivable sin.
But the bible shows us that that statement is not true.
The unforgivable sin relates not to the governing body of a cult but to The Holy Spirit himself.

Luke 12:10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven,
but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

That is scripture- so check a few versions and repeat it over to yourself a few times until you really hear its truth.

I genuinely wish you the peace of God which passes all understanding.

What Jeannie said is true. It is presumptuous to think that disagreement with the governing body is the same as grieving the holy spirit.

I understand your point, but you need to understand the jw point of view as well especially being this is the Official position of the JW denomination in regards to what they publish

You are being unkind. Millions of perfectly sound people get drawn in to believing all sorts of crazy stuff.
I'm no idiot and yet I got drawn into the Toronto blessing and prosperity teaching for a season many years ago.
This is a spiritual battle we are all in and no one is immune from getting fooled.
At the end of the day, where there is people there will always be those who will attempt to lead you away from God and into
some theology that will deprive you of your salvation. I've spent a lot of time with JW's and some mormons and those involved in new age practices- there's so many many ways to distract people from the truth.
Man made religions are to be avoided and if people from a variety of beliefs are all pointing to flaws in the belief system then it's worth listening and doing some proper independent research. Any God worth bothering with is going to be able to cope with being properly scrutinised. If someone says you're are in a cult then you probably are wise to check it all out.
No one here is any better than anyone else whatever their beliefs.Let's not miss out on the REAL JESUS- that's what this is about.

obviously you are very narrow minded with a sprinkle of hypocricy on top like most JW.

you would like to suggest that apostates are evil but you probably dont even know what an apostate is. you probably think it is someone who doesnt believe in god like the WT has taught you.

did you know that JW lose its members at an alarming rate?

you point the finger at those who follow thirdwittness, but you yourself also follow men.

you are taught to treat the GB as if there words were the words of god. is that not following men? you believe that they are the FDS and you took there word for it. It is the easiest belief of JW to discredit and yet, it is there most impotant.

your religeous education is clearly limited to what the watchtower teach you. dont you know that they discourage talking to people like me because they are afraid we will teach you the truth.

but at the very same time they discourage you to talk to others, they invite you to come inspect them as a whole to see if they are the true religeon. how hypocritical!

you ever notice that the "inspection" is always under ther conditions and surroundings?

maybe you should read up on the bibles definition of a false prophet and compare your religeon to it. that would be your opportunity to be honest with yourself!

What I find interesting is that the only JW's who responded to JWActive here on this particular thread are: Nevada, JWF, and Yuni, the 3 who have largely been the most disruptive and verbally abusive lately. Perhaps some of the others have taken his advice. But those 3, true to form, lash out against him with disdain and derision, one even saying she is here for her 'entertainment'. Such is why the elders will deal with these 3 especially, as well as others, including 3W, like JWActive said. It's unfortunate, and serious; no joke or laughing matter, as it's already started.
