I am tired of many clueless JWs parroting the WTS logic that if Jesus was God how come He did not know the time of His coming. They are saying that there is something that only the Father knew but Jesus did not know so thus Jesus could not be God. GET THE LOAD OF THIS: there is something that ONLY JESUS KNEW. NOT EVEN THE FATHER KNEW. REVELATION 19:12 "His eyes were like a flame of fire , and on His[JESUS] head were many crowns. HE HAD a name written THAT NO ONE KNEW EXCEPT Himself". Now if JWs are denying Jesus being God based on something Jesus did not know then how come JESUS KNEW something that even the Father did not know in REv. 19:12? Can those clueless JWs exclude the Father from being God based on that logic also? The second question is found in John 20:28 where Thomas a JEW called Jesus "THE LORD OF ME AND THE GOD OF ME" or in newer term, Thomas called Jesus as his GOD and his LORD but get a load of this, Jesus applauded Thomas for calling Him as his God and His Lord. Why didn't Jesus correct Thomas?

The name of your thread implies you are going to prove there is a trinity. Where is the proof of the trinity in what you posted?

read the context 11 Then I saw the sky opening up… and Look! There was a white horse, and the one who was sitting on it was called Faithful and True, because he judges and he fights war righteously! 12 His eyes were flames of fire and he wore many royal turbans on his head. He had a name that was written, which nobody knew but him. 13 He was wrapped in a robe that was splattered with blood, and the name he is called is The Word of God. 14 He was followed by all the armies in the sky, who were [riding] white horses and were wearing white, clean, fine linen. 15 He had a long, sharp sword sticking out of his mouth, which he might use to strike the nations; for, he will shepherd them with a staff made of iron. This is [the one who] was crushing the grapes with his feet in the winepress of the anger of the Almighty God's rage. 16 And on his robe and on his thigh he has the name written,'King of kings and Lord of lords.' The word of God the lamb, no other man knows because he is the only Christ the word of God the Son of the living God, the King of Gods Kingdom, the one God has approved of for his purpose for mankind.

" What is the matter? you can't even use your own beloved NWT to answer my question! the NWT in REv. 19:12 says " ...He has a name written that NO ONE knows but himself". Isn't that weird, you are the same person that can yell from here to China on how the King James Version is wrong as regard to John 1:1, Col. 1:15-16 but when you got connered, you ran to the King James versions for rescue. Your own Bible says it. NO ONE KNEW BUT JESUS. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. If the WTS can play that silly game to rob Jesus from being God just because the Bible says that no one knew the time and the hour except the Father. Guess what? Rev. 19:12 is fair game.

I read it within the right context. Now can you read Mat. 24:36 within the right context also?

Gotyou wrote: <quoted text> the same King James says in John 1:1 " and the Word was God". Would you accept that too? I accept that that is how it is translated in the King James Bible. I know that is not a correct translation. However, even if it was, there is no trinity there.

array wrote: <quoted text>nobody, no man knows but himself. No. Your beloved NWT says "NO ONE" and in fact most Bible translated Rev. 19:12 as 'NO ONE'.'No ONE' is No one. that is all it means. NO one except JESUS means ONLY JESUS KNEW of that name.

It takes a lot wisdom to say that another translation is wrong. Can the same wisdom be applied towards the NWT in Col. 16 to prove that the "all other things" rendering is also wrong?
