The plaintiffs made a deal with Kendrick not to seek remuneration should they receive a judgment against him. Imagine what the courts would be like if the defense never spoke? Actually there is a proverb that speaks to this.

The time for an active police investigation was when the abuse was actually occurring, though I can understand why that doesn't always happen.

However, your alleged victim began, in 2002, telling everyone and everyone in her orbit that she'd been abused; NO ONE reported that to the police until after a civil lawsuit was filed by Conti against WT in January 2011.

That is wholly inexcusable for someone who professes to have done what they did for the purpose of "protecting children."

When Candace Conti started revealing to anyone who would listen that she'd been abused she was the ONLY person in a position to bring about action with regard to Jonathan Kendrick. He'd already been convicted of a misdemeanor with regard to the 1993 incident; nothing new was going to come from that. Had SHE reported to the police rather than her therapist or her parents or her friends or Claudia "Black Bra" Francis or "the elders" or Richard Simons, or Cousin Klaus Conti with the glass eye or Uncle Cotton-Jack Conti, action could have been taken against him sooner and a third[?] victim might not have been abused.

Chandler-DEALS are a two way street. Why would she do it? She could have simply refused to press for payment of judgement after. So, he gave her something in return and he did it because he had something to lose. That's how the world works

Sorry she didn't report her abuse sooner but she was apparently struggling with its results at the time. Meth addicts are focused on the drug not what led them there.
