Annual convention brings Witnesses together

Intertesting to do bit of research.. on the comment made about baby baptism.. And yes some churches do sprinkle babies... But in fact do full immersion of adults... and yes, apparent the Catholic church does also.. Yet.! all one ever hears is that they sprinkle babies.. Most Cristian bases Churches do full immersion.

Well I was flipping thru channels last nite and landed on the ending of The Godfather when Michael's sister's baby was baptized and the priest most definitely just dripped water on the baby's forehead. One or two drops landed and the priest even wiped off the water with a tissue before it could run down. YET, the Bible shows that after getting baptized, Jesus “came up from the water” or “out of the water.”(Matthew 3:16; Mark 1:10) So it seems that John the Baptist immersed Jesus totally under and this was the EXAMPLE that was set for future Christians. This would also indicate that the person being baptized should NOT be an infant because you wouldn't want to risk drowning it!

I suspect that the idea of sprinkling came from the bible... Check Ezekiel.36:25
