So you finished with " cult " And you step into different world. So you find that small number of people want you or need you. Somebody gets 0 needs. So you spend time trying to makes friends beetwen exJW or some JW how probably has some doubts ( you trying to open their eyes on "cult ") Because people not much intresting with JW teaching and then you will found you will don' get much love by showing them all your JW issues. The will say f'cking sect and forget other day while it is big part of your life. So you wash all those problems like washing machine over and over.It shows you can't live further. You just don't understand truth about this world - nodoby really wants people like JW, exJW, exgayJW because it is all the same. JW stay as group - you stay by yourself - that's the difference. Many of you don't realise how Jwish many of you are still. Satan will not give you much - you not his people anyway. You just do dirty work for him - you blame God, religions and someone who appeal to Jehovah. You made you choise - you dedicated your life to Creator with luck of trust and love to Him. So Satan hates everyone who belong to Jehovah or used to belong ( like Jewish nation because they keep information about Him and preJesus life). Maybe Satan will use someone of you when whole human society will fight against God but nothing more. Just because you start to read Bible, tryied to avoid immorality, try to be honest, friendly and loving. You show that he as god not good enough for you. He don't forgive like Jehovah. You are useless from his point of view. So he will not give you richness, "friends","love ", importancy or other things which make you a valuable person in this world. He is decision maker in this world. That's why most of you still safering but don't see real reason.

If you don't understand God then you can start with understand who is Devil.
He is smart, nice, intellectual person until time X. When it is needed he will do everything to mislead you and get what he wants even if price would be your life or wealthness.
Many people wait in this world for their time X - to be rich, famous, important like their "father".

At that time Jesus arrived with his holy angels and commenced gathering his holy ones from one end of the earth to the other. The prophet Daniel records that when these things occur and Jesus gains access to God, the Ancient of Days, he comes in riding on the same cloud that the disciples saw him leave the earth with as mentioned in the book of Acts chapter 1. Daniel also speaks of a resurrection that occurs at that time - some to life, others to abhorrence. These things took place in the past. But God didn't end the world like we keep expecting him to do. He promised after the flood of Noah's day that he would never deal mankind such a blow again on a global scale. Instead, he has permitted us all to be born, live out our lives, hear the good news and put faith in it. If we do this successfully, we are crowned with eternal life in the kingdom of the heavens where flesh and blood can not enter.

Well answering the thread, I have never really been lonely no matter if I was a JW or an EXJW. I had many friends when I was a JW (although those friendships where conditional) not to mention as as a JW, you where so busy in all the meetings, talks,study, field service, quick builds, etc. etc. I didn't have time to be lonely. I would have to say loneliness had nothing to do with being an former JW. Although when I made the choice to leave the cult, there was a short period of time of being lonely, that was soon filled with true friends that did not have conditions placed on the friendship.

JW right in one thing - paradise exited on earth and will be - because that's God will and vision of condition how humankind can exist. Only choisen one could understand Bible properly because that book opens by Holy Spirit. But when Jesus was on earth - he was healing, resorected, feed or teach people. That's visual example what will happened when hó will be king and his kingdom will come.

In my expand opinion and i dare not speak for others
many of the jw online are barely considered good model jw within thier perspective halls,
many are shutin and lonely -- no one viist them, infact i have repeated asked online jw who are shutin when was the last time:
1. the youth stopped by,
2. the elders stopped by ,
3. the pioneers stopped by other than when in the territory
i have found that many who are online are typically not included in many congo activities, rarely getting an invite to join in with the Mature ones or Pillars in various recreational activies, so with the advent of the internet this gives them a chance to say
"Well I may be a NOBODY AT THE HALL --but i am better than those former jw online for AT LEAST I DIDN;T TURN MY BACK ON GOD"
AS YOU READ this posters thread you clearly see how the poster EQUATES no longer accepting the explanation of scripture as presented by the WT editorial staff with rejecting God, basic jw 101 teaching
LEAVING THE WT DENOMNATION =LEAVING GOD
so for me i see a group of people literally spending MORE TIME WITH THE VERY FOLKS THEY ARE TOO AVOID per their own theology, now that is Lonely So there are no senior activities or senior groups that meet with programs designed for them and no shuttle transportation for those who can no longer drive to various meetings? Most churches have senior programs and will shuttle people they also have meetings and programs designed for other age groups as a way to fellowship among peirs .It is really nice and people enjoy it and it gives seniors especially a chance to get out and mingle.Maybe this is something JW should coinsider a time to just fellowship with peirs their age without any pareticular purpose but to get out and just relax among each other and be social . Maybe some seniors would enjoy that and it helps build up the spirit too.

Perhaps this explanation will help those who sneer at the older ones who have been IN the WTS 30 or more years and look down their noses saying what took you so long to figure it out?
I have seen a lot of that haughty attitude here, like "you must be really stupid if it took you so many years to decide to walk away" but what they DON'T REALIZE is that we ignored all the obvious red flags and buried all the hurtful things we saw and experienced while we were being pushed aside for the healthier and more USEFUL FOR THE WTS SERVICES.
Between being around long enough to see how many doctrinal changes had been made and extra added "requirements" that Jehovah wanted placed on our shoulders... no matter how much we tried to pretend these things were not happening....they were.
How many decades of mistakes and how many years of doctrinal changes does it take for one to KNOW the WTS is not the "truth" and never was?
