Fort Hood shooting: profile of Nidal Malik Hasan

A contradictory profile of Hasan is still emerging:

- Hasan was supposedly harrassed for his faith in the Army after 9-11, but he couldn't obtain a discharge even after supposedly offering to pay back the military for his gov't med training.

-- while at Walter Reed, Hasan spoke oppenly of his opposition to the wars in Iraq/Afghan, which may explain his poor performance record. However, he was still promoted and transfered to Fort Hood.

-- despite reports that Hasan was a devout Muslim, his army records revealed that he had "no religious preference".

-- Hasan was born in the US, supposedly to Palestinian parents from a small town near Jerusalem, but his family was also described as Jordanian.

-- Hasan was unmarried and seemed a loner w/few friends.

The 'harassment' issue is possible, afterall, how many Americans have been murdered by Muslims? Still, we all know that there are thousands of Muslims in our armed forces who get along perfectly well with their comrades in arms.

So what are these people who make excuses for this murderer saying about Muslims? That they cannot deal with being harassed? Is there something about Islam that makes them unable to deal with the normal day to day dealings we all have with our fellow human beings?

Just look at what's happening around the world with Muslims making excuses to murder non-Muslims. Consider the protesters shouting obscenities and holding violent jihad signs with threats of retaliation and calls to annihilate non-Muslims over the Mohammad cartoons.

These were not simply a few Muslim nutjobs; rather, they were over 500 to 1000 of them marching and chanting death to...., etc. They claimed humiliation as one reason why they were protesting and acting like animals. This tells us that Islam incites violence and that Islamic dogma obligates Muslims to lash out violently when their so-called religion is criticized--even if the criticize is justified. Yet Muslims have no problem criticizing other religions. However, just don't criticize Islam. This is clearly a cult-like mentality--and a very dangerous one. After all, Muslims are not just a bunch of Jim Jones cult followers hidden in a jungle. Rather, Islam is a huge cult with over a billion followers.

So it becomes imperative that the world not accept Muslim aggression and be willing to reject Muslim immigration. Because Islamic doctrine and beliefs are inconsistent with freedom and democracy, western countries must be willing to prevent Muslim immigration as a defense against the real possibility of future Muslim uprisings and attacks from within. Unless Muslims are willing to reform Islam, then Islam does not belong in western freedom-loving countries. Islam incites violence, it doesn't encourage Muslims to act peacefully and assimillat into other cultures.

He is a coward, the U.S tax payers paid for his education to become a doctor. In return for his education, he agreed to stay with the miltary for a number of years. But when the order comes for his deployment to afghanistan, as required by his contracts, he chickened out and massacared his fellow unarmed servicemen in the name of Allah ans islam.

He had over 20 years experience in the US Military ... when you join .. you join for a certain length of time ... then if you want out.. you dont RESIGN on .. but he did....

When he joined .. it was actually against his parents wishes... so what do you think that means.... that he wanted to SERVE HIS COUNTRY...

Dont use his religion as an excuse. And being a psych .. he would be dealing with ALL the personnel... of all religions... all walks of life.

He was a single guy .. no family, no kids....and being part of a regiment... it was their turn to head overseas.

He was born and breed in the USA.... he joined of his own free will.(so i dont agree with him not feeling like an american- maybe he brought it upon himself for that to happen).

Harrassment in the Military is NOT tolerated at all. And him being an officer would have known that... and their are avenues to take - and to report such incidents.

I have served in the Military ... and know the processes that have to be taken. And by saying... I dont want to go, is not an excuse.

He joined the Army to serve his country of the USA... he did not sign up to serve his religion... for when you join the US Military you do not have to state your religion.
