Israel Falsifies Palestinian Supporters List Occupied Jerusalem, April 16 (QNA)– Israeli security forces produced counterfeit lists containing the names of “Welcome to Palestine” supporters, by adding foreign citizens bearing no relation to the campaign to raise intimidation against it and distort the goals of its participants, an Israeli newspaper has revealed. , According to Israeli newspaper (Haaretz), a large number of European citizens were surprised to find their names in blacklists, denying them entry into the Ben-Gurion International Airport. These include an employee of Italy’s Communications Ministry and a Dutch member of the board of directors of German pharmaceutical giant Merck. http://airflotilla2.wordpress.com/2012/04/16/...

A Pro Palestinian American Congressman Candidate McManus writes: It is time for America to use our military to force Israel to return the occupied territories Israel has failed to obey 69 UN resolutions and the UN passed Resolution 242 calling for Israel to withdrawal from the occupied territories. Cuba Defends Palestine´s Right to Self-Determination in Jerusalem Doha, Feb 28 (RHC) Cuban Ambassador to Qatar, Armando Vergara, defended the right of Palestinians to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state with its capital in part of Eastern Jerusalem. Cuban legation sources in Doha emphasized diplomatic intervention at the conference in defense of the sacred city, which consisted of delegate participation from several countries, including Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, and secretary general of the Arab League, Nabil El-Arabi. The conference ran from February 26th through Tuesday 28th, but no representatives from Israel were invited to the meeting, so leaving the debates table lame. Vergara expressed his country's support of any decisions that may result from this conference, including the possibility of reaffirming that East Jerusalem is an inseparable part of the Palestinian State, occupied in 1967 after an attempt by three Arab nations to invade the UN mandated state of Israel. He said that Cuba supports the steps taken in the UN General Assembly to make the Palestinian state a full member, to consider their legitimate right to self-determination and the achievement of independence and justice. The ambassador said that there is no reason to justify a complacent reaction to this demand, made at Palestinian, Arab and international levels, and stressed that the issue of Jewish settlements is an obstacle in the path to finding a solution to this problem. He said that the actions of Israel of Judaizing Jerusalem and ridding the city of sites that are part of the Arab and Islamic heritage are particularly deploring. He stressed Cuba´s absolute rejection of the colonization carried out by Tel Aviv, which makes it more difficult to create an environment conducive to continued peace negotiations and reach an agreement that addresses the Palestinian people's inalienable rights. http://www.radiohc.cu/ing/news/cuba/5665-cuba...

Michael Rabb: Israel -- Support human rights Israel, on Sunday (Aug. 5) barred the delegations of five countries from attending a diplomatic conference in Ramallah, in the West Bank, upending plans by the Palestinian president to announce his intention to renew the Palestinians' bid this September for enhanced status in the United Nations. Israel's arbitrary and abusive control over entry into the occupied Palestinian territories is unlawful and must be vigorously opposed. Israel must recognize the basic human right of entering to Palestine by those who want to visit the Palestinian people. http://www.dailycamera.com/letters/ci_2128376...

July 25. 2012 3:22PM Goffstown woman spends 2 weeks in Palestine Kathy Remillard, k-rem@comcast.net She calls it the side of the story that Americans need to hear, and Carolyn Cicciu of Goffstown has made it her mission to educate Americans about what she sees as the mistreatment of Palestine by Israel. Cicciu, along with a group of about 30, including a woman from Laconia, traveled to the Middle East for two weeks in May to see living conditions in Palestine firsthand. It was her second trip there; the first was in 2009. “We find often that the media doesn’t give an accurate – or any – coverage of the situation,” Cicciu said.“People have no idea of how much suffering is going on over there.” http://www.newhampshire.com/article/20120725/...

ISO holds rally in support of Palestine LAHORE: Hundreds of Imamia Students Organization (ISO) Pakistan activists on Friday rallied on Friday to express solidarity with Palestinians. The last Friday of Ramazan was observed as Yaumul Quds in which rallies were taken out in different cities across the country. The participants in the rallies protested against Israeli atrocities on innocent Palestinians. In the provincial metropolis, the rally started from Islampura and culminated at Karbala Gamay Shah. The entire route of the rally was strictly monitored and all the connecting roads were cordoned off. The intermittent rain and construction activities on the Lower Mall did not deter the participants; however, the commuters had to face some troubles owing to traffic mess. The rally participants marched while carrying banners and placards inscribed with anti-US and anti-Israel slogans. http://www.thenews.com.pk/Todays-News-2-12710... . It is Islam's problem before it is deemed as the Palestinians'. Not that the problem wins top priority status due to the existence of Holy Mosques and monuments in Palestine. Rather it is the Muslim (the most invaluable entity in Islam) who incites and stimulates other Muslims to be more concerned with the problem. All the injustices meted out to the Muslim people of Palestine and the ganging up of istikbar, by Zionists and its regional agents against these people, make it obligatory on every Muslim to remind himself always of the prophetic tradition which states that "whoever wakes up without paying heed to Muslims' affairs, he is non-Muslim". There is no need, therefore, to overemphasise to all Muslims everywhere about the legitimacy of the Palestinian campaign for restoring their rights. As they say, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere", today, the issue of Palestine is one of the most important issues bedevilling the world. In fact, no other international issue in the world is more important than the issue of Palestine because the domination of the occupiers of Palestine is the source of many of the weaknesses and problems in the world today. The issue of Palestine is not something that can be treated lightly as it is intertwined with the destiny of non-Palestinians throughout the world. The issue of Gaza is not about a piece of land. The issue of Palestine is not just a geographical issue: it is a human issue. It concerns the entire humanity. Today the issue of Palestine is the standard that distinguishes between commitment and opposition to human values and principles. This shows how important the issue is. http://allafrica.com/stories/201208230385.htm... . Ban urges international community to bolster support for Palestinian Authority 23 September 2012 – Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today urged the international community to strengthen its support for the Palestinian Authority, stressing that failure to do so could have a destabilizing effect in the Middle East. “The vision of a two-State solution and the achievements of the Palestinian Authority are key elements of stability and progress. They must be maintained and realized in full without further delay,” Mr. Ban said in a message to the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee that was delivered by Jeffrey Feltman, the Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs. “Failure to do so at this critical juncture could have consequences that may prove widely destabilizing,” he told the meeting, which was chaired by Norway. The Ad Hoc Liaison Committee (AHLC) is a 12-member body that serves as the principal policy-level coordination mechanism for development assistance to the Palestinian people. Mr. Ban underlined that in spite of recent achievements by the Palestinian Authority, the lack of progress on the political track, the ongoing conflict and occupation, the expansion of settlements and the continued Palestinian divide continue to threaten the viability of the two-State solution. The Secretary-General also drew attention to the dire financial situation of the Palestinian Authority, stating that it presents an additional risk, and called on countries to close the gap in funding needed to provide assistance to Palestinians. .
