How long ago did you sacrifice your ability for critical thinking upon the alter of Holy prejudicial emotion? Obviously you have ABSOLUTELY NO KNOWLEDGE of science. There can be no reasonable debate when you are utterly devoid of reason. I was hoping you would reply with some type of logical debate on the subject but I guess you haven't found one yet. Can you answer this question: Where did the "Law of Physics" come from?

Why is it that the carbon "dating", if done by numerous people, always come up with a different number of years, mostly millions or billions of years difference? Carbon dating is not a reliable source. You can see in just a few hundred years, what many changes the earth has gone thru. How could the earth have survived for "billions" of years? It couldn't have. You and I agree on most things, but on this post, you're dead flat wrong. The universe of billions of years old, the Earth's sun and the rest of the solar system are younger, but still roughly 4-5 billion years old. None of those numbers contradict the Bible. Genesis speaks metaphorically about creation. Jesus spoke in hyperbole and parables. Much of the Old Testament is written in metaphors. That in no way diminishes God or his message.

I believe the Bible states: ‘But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.’ 2 Peter 3:8 There is no reason people can't believe in the Bible and not believe what science has shown as well.

I'm not saying I know for sure how old the earth is but the scientist themselves keep finding flaws in the old test for the ages they have claimed in the past.
No one truly knows, not even the people we were taught to believe, who wrote the science books.
Mans science keeps changing, as the atmosphere surprises them and changes on them forcing them to change their dating.
It's possible that during creation God took many years instead of just 7 days, to create the heavens, earth and animals but I doubt that men have been on earth for billions of years, maybe thousands. There aren't any 'proven' fossils of men over thousands of years. There also aren't any proven fossils of evolution.(now I know I've stirred up a wasp's nest, but that's my belief).

Verified Homo Sapiens fossils go back at least 200,000 years.

This is a very deep subject and many people have some type of a different view. Some of the previous claims to fossils of humans have been debunked as phonys by certain groups. Really, all we can do is read what they write and unless we are doing the scientific research ourselves, it's impossible to prove any view. http://www.christiananswers.net/q-eden/edn-c0...

I will say this, I have wondered what Adam and Eve's physical appearence was like before the fall, why they didn't realize they were naked beforehand and if they could have had fur covered skin previously. As soon as they sinned, they knew they were naked and raced to find something to cover up with. Just a thought.

This is all off topic. Man has certainly not been around for billions of years. Man-like (hominid, not human) fossils have been dated to 3 million years old. Young Earth creationists literally interpret the Bible as proof that the Earth is 6,000 to 10,000 years old. There is archaeological evidence of human habitation that predates these numbers.

Back to the topic, I see that David Criswell, Ph.d of Christiananswers.net states that Obama was married in a Christian church and his kids were baptized into the Christian faith. Strange behaviors for a Muslim, if you ask me.

Just some different views I've read: Some believe from todays calculations of population growth, if man had been on earth more than 10K years say, we would have already ran out of room. They also say that the earth and sun are getting closer together and that if earth were as old as some believe, the sun's heat would have already made earth inhabitable.

That so-called Christian church allowed Muslims to become members. I've never known any reputable church to do that without conversion. Jeremiah Wright said that Obama claimed to be Muslim, that he and Michelle barely ever showed up for church, that they weren't "church going people". They joined more or less for the title of membership. That he never heard Obama denounce his "Muslim faith".

Nothing. Is it a truism? Not hardly. Just another example of a dummkopf attempting to prop up a failed myth. There have been untold millions of converts throughout history - we honor St. Patrick for his success in Christianizing the Emerald Isle. Without conversion there would be no such thing as Christians and Muslims - the vast majority would be heathens and pagans.

If their parents go to a certain church, then many also just claim that denomination as their own. Obama was taught(indoctrinated) the Quran as a young boy. By the time he went to American schools, they didn't force feed him the Christian religion (Remember Bible and prayer had been taken out of US public schools by then). Jeremiah Wright stated that he was never sure if Obama had ever truly converted to Christianity.

We are fighting Al Qaeda and the Taliban - which might mean the same thing to you, but YOU ARE A BLITHERING IDIOT. Since when is ANYONE unwelcome in a church? Do you think that Jesus only preached to respectable Jews? What do you call a "reputable" church? I spit on your elitism! Suddenly Wright, who has been disgraced by his own words, despised by the right, shunned by the left and abandoned by the Obamas is your star creditable witness?

As far as Muslims go, there is no 'coverting' to being a Muslim if you are a child of Muslim parents. You are automatically a Muslim and are forced to pray and recite their 'brain numbing' cult trash. If you later decide not to worship their 'god', you are an outcast and can be killed, without any legal action against the murderers being taken.
