You can always tell when you hit close to home with Ken, the failed priest, because his replies become more shrill and nonfactual. LOL! You have no idea what TEC priests do or don't do. TA, you're projecting again. You are the chicken little running around screaming that OUR sky is falling. God will take care of us. Worry about yourself, and your lack of love and forgiveness. I worry that you won't know Jesus when you meet Him. You, my poor delude misguided friend, are a failed follower of Yeshua and therefore have chosen to work as an accuser. Hate on and pretend you follow Jesus, we all know the truth....

LOL - When you’re losing the argument then change the topic and attack the person giving the argument and ignore the actual subject. Yep, these are sure the kind of people I would want in my life. Yep, these are real honest and loving 'orthodox' folks.

Think Again wrote: <quoted text> Thank you sockpuppet. When did Ken write this for you? Once again I have to point out the obvious to you. RevKen, MiddleWay and I are all Episcopalians and share a common point of view. What a surprise since this is an Episcopal Church Forum. Of interest to all the Episcopalians here is your curious love affair with Vacuous Joe. Is it that evangelical-fundamentalist find love in dark closets? A LCMS with a Church of Rome lover brings new meaning to 'love thy neighbor as thy self'. Of course I know that it is actual Wiccan pagan love that binds you two in darkness.

Column: When spirituality and religion collide By Diana Butler Bass But today's world is different. All institutions are being torn apart by tension between two groups: those who want to reassert familiar and tested leadership patterns — including top-down control, uniformity and bureaucracy; and those who want to welcome untested but promising patterns of the emerging era — grassroots empowerment, diversity and relational networks. It is not a divide between conservatives and liberals; rather, it is a divide between institution and spirit. Top-down structures are declining. In the Anglicans' case, spiritual and institutional leadership have been severed. The emerging vision maintains that spiritual leadership must be learned, earned and experienced distinct from, and often in tension with, the ascribed role of bishop. TA, Why does this response above require bravery? And as for the particular scriptural passage quoted above, how does John propose to "test" the "spirits?" TA, specifically to what "spirits" is John making reference? Who on these TOPIX TEC threads purports to be a prophet from God, either true or false? In fact, it seems that you are the one who is always prophesying death and destruction for TEC and for those who are, in your opinion, not sufficiently repentant. I believe that TEC is on the right track with its ministry and the central theme of its teachings; a track in discipleship of Christ Jesus according to His Teachings. We have permitted women to take their rightful place alongside man in Holy Orders. Now we are lifting up those who have been cast aside and rejected and are showing that these can and are willing to serve competently with Grace and unselfish Love, including accepting homosexuals as our equals in all humanity and fully capable in taking part in all sacraments. This they are able to do, both as the ministers and the followers who are to receive the sacraments. This includes marrying and becoming married. If I predict anything, it is that God's Grace is upon this Church and is growing and intensifying toward confirming our success in these campaigns. But, this is more of an observation in the present versus a speaking of the Word of God to say "something" will come to pass. I do not regard this predicting and observation as prophesying in the biblical sense. However, if you wish to hand me such a compliment, in observation of the One God who inspires with Grace and Truth, I do accept the compliment with hope that my predictive powers will improve and be helpful to others. Rev. Ken

I believe that TEC is on the right track with its ministry and the central theme of its teachings; a track in discipleship of Christ Jesus according to His Teachings. Ken You answered your own question. TEC as a whole purports to be a prophet from God, claiming the Holy Spirit is doing a "new thing." You use one verse said by Jesus as a licence for sin and immorality. You know full well the origins of this particular verse is in Leviticus. You know full well Jesus said to judge rightly. You know full well that repentance is required for salvation. You know full well all of these things yet you continue down this path. You and TEC claim exclusivity to the Holy Spirit teaching this "new thing" when it is only being "taught" in a few small denominations here. The majority of Christendom is not abiding by this and is also claiming guidance from the Holy Spirit. Which side is correct? You claim to be a prophet with your NEW teachings and thus we all must test the spirits from which you have derived these NEW teachings.
