An amazing connection between Ethiopia and Christianity

Full story: Examiner.com

This morning the Scripture lessons told the story of Saint Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch, who was baptized by Philip when they met on the road.A The story goes that Philip overheard the Ethiopian reading aloud from the Old Testament and struck up a conversation in which he interpreted the Scripture as a prophecy of Jesus' coming.

I believe you are trying to prove something. And what you proved is that yea am glories. U brought my history from the bible.
Note. We conquered and desecrated Ethiopia before we accepted christianity. The arc of the covenant has nothing to do with Christianity. Remember it was made and brought before Christianity by a 1000 years. Its brought by minilik the son of queen of shiba and Solomon. By the time the bible was written we had destroyed and adopted the name Ethiopia 300 years earlier. That is why when the axumite read the bible they found there history and there military campaign in the Arabian penesula. And said its talking about us.
Dude research anything about my people it's all glories not a single shameful moment in the history of our fathers just the modern ones have brought nothing but poverty to us. We will get up. Axumito. I hate to be you. You are here dishonor my people because no one wants to talk about your people no matter who they are. Its habesh this habesha that. Habesha is getting head from ur mom.

There were people practicing Judaism in Ethiopia from of the Queen Sheba and King Solomon of Israel. Despite that long history of Judaism in Ethiopia, the modern state of Israel would not recognize Ethiopian refugees as Jewish until they were re-educated and made to conform to the European form of the modern religion.

We're getting better.

I love the Ethiopian tradition in Judaism. One of my best friends here is Ethiopian.

**They have been granted the same right of return to Israel that Jewish law gives all Jews.

More than 80,000 Ethiopian Jews have immigrated to Israel in the past three decades - 15,000 of them in a three-day airlift 20 years ago called Operation Solomon. They now total 120,000.**

It was a relatively short period during which the "bona fides" of the Ethiopian Jewish community was being tested. The Emperor had refused to let them leave and it was not until the revolution in Ethiopia in 1974 and its decided anti-religious and anti-Israeli attitude, that large numbers began to leave the country. By 1975, they were accepted as coming under the Law of Return entitling any who came to take up Israeli residence. Like many immigrant groups, they have suffered hardship including discrimination based upon their lack of education in Hebrew (or English), skin color and customs. But no where else in the world was anyone prepared to make a place of any kind for them.

How do you expected them to be treated? You must be naive if you assume to be treated as equal. It is to be recalled that they come from Ethiopia one of the greatest couuntry on the whole wide world.Funny, isn't it?

They are welcome home.

Many want to stay as they believe they are guarding the Ark.

Who knows, they may be doing just that...

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Virgo

It's a rather low-key day with a few disappointments to cope with along the way. If you were looking forward to a social event, such as meeting up with friends, it may fail to live up to your expectations. It might even be delayed or postponed through no fault of your own. There could also be problems about how much something is going to cost, forcing you to scale down your plans to make them more affordable.
