You'd think, that after 2,000+ years, the religion would have begun to make some headway.

Yet, most world polls show christianity on the wane, and falling.

I see the Christian Spam as just another desperate ploy.

They can no longer frighten people with their hate-messages of an eternal torture-pit. Modern adults see that for what it is: a tale to frighten the gullible.

You missed the point, if you are a believer in one religious tradition or another, you should be outraged at what other people are turning your faith into. St Augustine warned about it centuries ago but many have failed to understand.
