All the believers on this site including my parents always do this loop game ,"its true because the bible says so" which has always seemed lame to me, but whatever.
I'm mainly talking about miracle clams like these.
· Healing of the leper (Matthew 8)
· The casting of the devils into the swine (Matthew 8)
· The blind men healed (Matthew 9)
· The feeding of the multitude (Matthew 14)
· Walking on water (Matthew 14)
· Calming of the winds and rains (Mark 4)
· The lame man made whole (John 5)
· The blind man healed (John 9)
I'm not leaving much wiggle room on this one and that's the point, I'm well aware this is all in the bible.
In my mind, none of this is provable including the existence of heaven and hell or if there really is a god.
If there's anybody here or if you know someone
that has proof that any of this is true, I'm all ears.
I only seek the truth!
Christian
can any claim in the bible be proven today ?

Is this the sort of thing you mean?
http://the13skulls.com/2008/04/14/proof-of-th... Do you mean proof of the actual events or proof that these things happen still? |

Interesting site angelina. I'm waiting to see how they scoff at it. That seems to be solid proof of the crossing of the Red Sea. If THAT miracle is true (Which of course I believe it is) then all others are no doubt true.

Did you look at the website angelina provided? What is your explanation of that? |

proof of all the {defying the law of physics} claims in the bible. but how does finding chariot wheels at the bottom of the sea prove that there was an event that took place like on the movie "the ten commandments"? |
Didn't read about the pillar of Solomon? Verifying what happened? And another thing, what in the world are chariot wheels even DOING at the bottom of the sea, in 2,600 feet of water? What else in history is recorded that would require that? And if you're looking for a sign? Forget it. The only sign left is the coming of the Son of Man in the clouds of His Glory. Your mom should be a precious enough sign for you for now. And I didn't mean that in a derogatory way. |

1 Wayne... I don't have to look at the site to know it's Crap.. The laws of Physics is the law of Physics.. That doesn't change for anything... There could be a 100 different reasons why Chariot wheels are under water... LOL The least of which are that the Sea magically parted... Nonsense... I find it hard to believe that you people can survive day to day life while beiving these sorts of things,, Simply Incredible... Atheist |
That's bad archaeology. One of the chariot wheels turned out to be a natural coral formation. The man-made parts and bones turned out to be from sunken ships. And finally, the golden chariot parts were a hoax. The "finder" was asked to produce them for study and couldn't. |
|
Well when I told on another thread about a man I knew who was dying of tuberculosis getting two new lungs I was accused of lying so I am inclined to think that any claim made here will be disbelieved. As for the chariot wheels, well as Wayne says, what would they all be doing at the bottom of the sea? |
|
Same reason you can find car parts on the bottom of the ocean. Vehicles have been shipped by boat as long as there have been boats capable of carrying them. Or would you rather have us believe that they were driving across the ocean a hundred years ago in their magic cars? |

How about this?

angelina, it's a losing fight with these skeptics. Not that the Word of God is losing, but it is very hard to get a skeptic to believe unless God Himself intervenes. What I find funny is that WIP won't believe but expects us to believe her when she claims she is reincarnated. She says she could care less if we believe or not but the fact remains SHE believes it. I find that much harder to believe than the chariot wheels found at the bottom of the sea. lol |

More fake archaeology. http://www.mnsu.edu/emuseum/archaeology/sites... |
|
http://www.geotimes.org/nov03/NN_tunnel.html That one actually seems to be true. And since it doesn't have anything to do with claims of God or miracles, I have no problem with it. It's just a tunnel dug during a war. |
|
Who's to say YOUR link isn't fake archaeology? Looks like a lot of supposition to me. |
|
Agreed Wayne. |

1 Because it was done by actual archaeologists supported by the archaeological community rather than bible thumpers with a shovel claiming things other archaeologists dispute. |

Well lets start in kindergarten we can get to advanced physics in as long as it takes you to go from kindergarten to advance physics, there is gifted child advancement available. Pro 1:1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; Pro 1:2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; Pro 1:3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; Pro 1:4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. Pro 1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: Pro 1:6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. Pro 1:10 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. Pro 1:11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: Is this true? Pro 1:16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. Pro 1:17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. Pro 1:18 And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. Pro 1:19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof. Pro 12:1 Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish. Pro 12:8 A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised. Pro 12:10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. Pro 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. Are the above true? This is you kindergarten placement test and will determine what class you should be placed in. |
