So, where is "Dictatorship" mentioned in OKAY's post? It sounds like more of a "general" reference...

If you think that the US is headed "towards" oligarchy, I believe you are sadly mistaken. The world is headed that way. Whoever ends up controlling the commodities will rule...more specifically, food, water, power and communications.

THE NEW MOTHER NATURE

Like Dr. Strangelove, I'm beginning to adopt an open-mind and appreciate things like war, disease, genocide, etc. I never fully appreciated George Carlin's humor about the need for more war and unnecessary, premature death being a good thing but since human beings prefer to procreate themselves into a slow, whimpering, pathetic oblivion maybe guys like Hitler, Moa, Stalin, G W Bush, etc. were men of vision and had the right idea after all.

Since our first hairy ancestors started the first fire for warmth and later for cooking, man has wasted vast amounts of technology and opportunity to burn things when we needed energy. From wood, to coal, to petroleum, to nuclear, man prefers to burn stuff instead of harnessing the world's great energy source...solar. Must have been harder to turn solar and wind into cash.

Over-population of human beings is already crowding out wildlife, soon we will be crowding each other out. If not for far-sighted heroes like Hitler and various religious war promoters ask yourself, how much farther along would we be to not being able to feed ourselves?

Just as each new unneeded birth is looked upon as a new beginning, we must learn to appreciate population thinning as new beginnings. As each over-weight teen has more and more over-weight children don't be concerned. There's always World War III and IV if necessary, to make needed corrections.

Could war, disease, starvation, poverty and genocide be the NEW mother nature?
