Mary not a virgin evermore!!!! When I say "I will not leave my house till it stops raining"....am I not saying when it stops raining I will leave my house????? justachristian1 wrote: <quoted text> Not only that, but you won't get all wet if you stay indoors till the rain stops!! Sure sounds like it to me!!:) How true!!!! And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. Meaning she had children after the birth of Jesus. Proof: Jesus is the only begotton Son of God. Quote:He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. However, Mary did not have "the only begotten Son of God" she had her firstborn child. Quote: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. first·born First in order of birth; born first. To be born first means there were more than one birth. Truth from Scripture that Catholics deny.

OldJG wrote: Patriot, please finish our discussion by answering the questions. Your quote, "No,our making slips and slides will not send us to hell long as we get back on the right track." End quote. What if they never had an opportunity to get back on the "right track" due to death? Do they go to hell? Your quote, "one can slip and stumble but they can be back in the right way by confession, repenting, praying and doing right.i.e walking in the light as he is in the light we have fellow ship with him. that is in 1 John chap 1 around V7 or so." End quote. What if they are not able to make confession, repent, pray or doing right? What happens then? Finally, do you admit you were lost prior to coming to Jesus? JG, Chuck for 144th and last time.John 15:2 "EVERY BRANCH IN ME THAT BEARETH NOT FRUIT HE TAKETH AWAY and every branch that beareth fruit he purgeth it that it may bring forth more fruit"V5 picks up the convesation "...he that abideth in me and I in him the same bringeth forth much fruit(look back at V2)now V6 reflects back to the unfruitful branch as one that does not abide in him is cast forth, gathered up and put in the fire" That runs parallel to 1 John 1:7.thAT WE MUST ABIDE IN HIM to have fellowship with him. the rest of the passage til chap 2-3, it tells if we walk with him and we slip up, we can get forgiveness. 2 Pet chap 2 is much clearer, the MAIN POINT IS NOT ONE WHO FALLS AND GETS BACK UP BUT THE ONE WHO FORSAKE THE RIGHT WAY AND GO BACK TO A LIFESTYLE OF SIN, NOT UNINTENTIONAL SIN. BIG DIFFERENCE. In 2 Pet 2 starting with V9-end of chap it describes the ones who forsake the right way and go astray,V20-22 describes the ones who escape the pollutions of the world through knowledge ofChrist(YES CHRISTIANS) THEY GO BACK AND BE ENTAGLED IN LIFE OF SIN AND OVERCOME WITH IT AND IT SPELLS WOE UNTO THEM.hEB 6:4-6 ALSO DESCRIBES ONES WHO GO BACK TO LIFE OF SIN. TAKE A PEK AT v12. i HAVE MANY MORE EXAMPLES SUCH as 1 Cor chap 9 & 10:1-12 tell with apostasy. I know you and Chuck will ignore them so I will not bother.Rom 8:1 is plain those IN CHRIST there is no condemnation who walk in the spirit, and those IN CHRIST that walk after the flesh face condemnation, John 8:31 states "Then Jesus said to them that believe on him(Christians)IF(the condition)YOU CONTINUE IN MY WORD THEN YE ARE MY DISCIPLES INDEED" by simple deduction if one does NOT CONTINUE IN HIS WORD HE IS NOT A DISCIPLE...case closed. Good NIght fellas.

It it natural for humans to be divided by things such as religion, class, race or creed. Its in our nature really. But I do like the fact that some can TALK about our differences online. Even if we argue and insult each other, I prefer that to all the murdering, oppressing etc in name of God.

Good new for you ITB!!!!!! A recent poll shows that most U.S. Catholics support same-sex marriage, defying Vatican edicts. The conflict is pitting the Church against the conscience of its faithful, many of whom are struggling with inner turmoil. If they can "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;"...so can you!!!!!

Good, I'm proud to be part of a group of open minded Christians who don't preach hate and intolerance for others. More Christians need to take to heart the true message Jesus was teaching...a message of love, tolerance and empathy. Not what "Christians" such as yourself and Old and too many others are preaching...hate and intolerance. I don't have any "inner turmoil". I've made the right decision in supporting same sex marriage. I am confident in that decision. BTW-Where did you steal this info in your post from? I'd like to read more about this good news.

FYI The Supreme Court has said a religion need not be based on a belief in the existence of a Supreme Being, e.g., In the 1961 case of Torcaso v. FYI You are grossly misrepresenting Torcaso v. Watkins and making fraudulent claims about the Court's decision. The problem is you are well respected in the forum and folks may possibly accept your comment at face value. My little club gathers in the belief that we should give as many shoes to as many underpriveledged kids as possible. Technically, I guess, we are secular humanists. We are tax exempt. Do you think we should quit giving shoes to kids until we put a cross on the building? Perhaps you think we should pay taxes because we don't have a cross on the building. What are you thinking, anyway?
