... You know they are looking for a witted punch to enter into a Christian forum. That is brave.. For one or two Christians in theirs can keep them thinking and get them convicted to anger.. Can you imagine, if there was more then a few there.. I bet it would clear out till it settled, then they would slowly crawl back out when the light leaves..I am so thankful to know Jesus and follow His teachings. He is right about everything, And I mean everything..God bless you Andrew, I am here and over there for you when you need me. I will be back on tonight to help as well..In case I miss you, peace be to you and yours, and for the hedge of protection to cover God's people as we take a stand against the evil that is overflowing..
First, what is a "witted punch"?
Second, you do realize that this isn't a 'christian' forum, right? Topix references a topic under each forum that might be applicable.

Not quite sure why you are so proud of being able to porvoke people to anger...but anyway, it doesn't sound very christian.

A lot of folks seem to have trouble comprehending that sometimes threads are cross-posted in multiple forums. Then they get all upset when they hear views from a different perspective from their own.

You're certainly unwavering in your stupidity. No one doubts that. And we know you'll never change. Right-wing christians are the most close-minded people in the country. You have been programmed to hate.
Kerdy has changed. He used to be an old sinner, now he is a new creation in Christ Jesus. He has Jesus in his heart.

Christians don't promote hate. Those who do not understand God's love and reject God's love promote hate.

Jesus said: "Love one another as I have loved you". You people that call Christians hateful don't even try to understand or love a Christian. You just want to bash them.

Where is the kindness?
Where is the understanding?
Where is the love?

It is not in you..........

I will when I get off of work. On my lunch break right now.
I hope this explains what I was trying to say yesterday.

Hebrews 9:27
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”
John 3:3-6

“In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!" Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit”

2 Corinthians 6:2

“now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation”

First, we see that all are appointed to die and then we will be judged by God. Then we see the explanation of salvation. To be born of the spirit after the birth of the flesh. Then we see that today is the day of salvation. What does all this mean?

1 – We are going to die and that death can come at any moment.

2 – If we are not saved/born again/born of the spirit we can not enter the kingdom of god. There are two lives and this is the only life to make that choice. Once you die, its too late.

3 – NOW is the time of salvation, because we know if we die without Christ, we can not enter Heaven and because we are not promised tomorrow. At any time our lives could end. Natural causes, accident, murder, anything. There have been young healthy people die suddenly and unhealthy people who live over 100. No one knows. Once we are dead, it’s too late to make a decision to live for God and accept Christ.

So, knowing we are going to die and knowing we are not promised tomorrow or even later today because God has not made that promise, his only guarantee for you to be saved is now, not later. This may be an only one time opportunity for some. Luckily, it isn’t for most. Even so, how can a person who is teetering on whether or not they want to be a child of God not understand that this may be your one and only OR last opportunity to make that choice?

Also, scripture tells us that God will eventually turn from people who ignore Him and do as they want.

Romans 1:28

“And even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;”

Understanding this also tells us that if God does do this, you will not receive another chance to accept His gift of salvation, but instead will be blinded to the truth as a result of your previous choices of ignoring God.

To summarize, God promises a chance of salvation. What he does not promise is a tomorrow or that if you refuse that chance that He will not stop giving you a chance to accept His gift. Therefore, today is indeed the day of salvation, because they may not be another opportunity.

Yes, and I must thank you for explaining that to me a very long time ago. It made a world of difference when I understood how it all worked.

Why is it that I'm getting the distinct impression that SOMEbody is feeling out of his depth with the fight he picked and is trying to call in reinforcements?
