He replied: Before Europeans came to our lands, there was no ownership,

We peacefully shared the land, animals, plants, all resources, there was but a little conflict, jealousy and hatred. There was no drugs, crime like now, child abuse, nature pollution,...

Now we have Bible, we are Christians, but we have NOTHING!!!
Europeans gave us Bible but took and own all our resources. We now have huge crime, pollution, drug and aids problems,.... yes we are happy to be Christians. God bless you.

You're absolutely right. Man is imperfect, and there have been many mistakes made by Christians and the cultures that often accompanied them.

Even in your imaginary story though, the South African responds, "Yes we are happy to be Christians. God bless you."

It's not about what we own. It's not about the injustice in the world. It's not about the faults of our neighbours.

It IS about Jesus Christ and reconciliation and peace with God though.

I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty.
