:-) funny song, though, I enjoyed listening to it. Who knows? maybe it IS good eating. But I'm not ready to try it.(uch - and I hope I never have to try it -- not that I'd want to upset that farmer, though)

NotQuiter,
Earlier today I got stung by a wasp, and thought that I'd get even with it by destroying its nest that was hanging from my back porch's ceiling, but I refrained, thinking that I should probably get some wasp kiling spray. Then I searched and found this: http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals...
The short of it is that wasps do more good to humans than harm. Hmm...rethink...I'll leave the wasp alone. Obviously it was just defending its territory. I wish that this particular wasp had known that I meant it no harm when I was just trying to clean my gutter! My right hand is still a little numb!
I'm sorry, and you're right.

<quoted text>That was with Japan.
Hitler declared war on America.
It was Roosevelt's fire side chats on the radio that inspired Americans
to be behind our armed force's and support our troops.
It was a united war effort on the home front.
All Americans pitched in.
Our armed forces in that war were mostly men and women of all religions
and of course non-religious.
Our men fought the war they were not restricted with there hands tied behind their back like they are to day,
We don't know how to win a war any more.
And its going to get worst in the coming years, if Obama gets re-elected.
Actually, it was not a united war effort. There were streams of dissent through out the society. Compared to Vietnam it was united, maybe. But that is a poor standard to compare by.

The reason we dont know how to win a war anymore is that we keep meddling in wars that are inherently unwinnable with the minimal amount of preparation for the day after. Ever ponder that?

How do you define victory in Afghanistan or Iraq anyhow?

Obama and Obama Care are the biggest evils confronting us?

That is really pathetic, even from you.

Speaking of evil, how is that Pope doing these days, anyhow? I keep reading interesting things about the workings of the church. Years and years of avoiding investigation for pedophilia, but once someone writes a kiss and tell all about the internal politics, without 1 week he is located and strung up on a pole. Pretty damn sad.

<quoted text>You'll just keep making up stories. Now with the new stuff coming out about the Vatican, do you think the Pope will lie (tell stories) like you said he did in the past? But you didn't just say he told stories, did you. You said he lied. He'll need to say a lot of hail mary's, asking her to go before her son God or the triple complex and ask forgiveness.

TIDBITS ABOUT THE LIFE OF JESUS:
1) Jesus was quite fair, tall and had a slightly hooked nose.
2) Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene and had a son through her via sexual means.
3) Jesus lived in India from the age of 13 to 30 perfecting his yoga.
4) Jesus was a pure vegetarian.
5) Jesus possessed tremendous control over the cosmic vital force via which he engineered his vital feats of walking on water, materialization of food, resurrection of Lazarus, curing diseases, etc.
6) Jesus served unleavened bread and spring water from a large shiny metal bowl to his disciples during the last supper.
7) Peter was Arjun reborn.
8) Peter (aka Arjuna), Matthew and Paul were formerly direct disciples of Krishna.
9) When the Roman soldiers came to arrest Jesus, he simply told his disciples, "Do your duty," and not what the NT records of him telling Peter to sheath his sword and the rest.
10) The disciples of Jesus simply fled when they saw the heavily armed Roman soldiers approaching and thereafter poor Jesus was taken by them.
11) Jesus could drive out evil spirits from possessed people but he could not dissolve these evil spirits and he had no power to tackle or dissolve the major asura forces of the vital plane.
12) During the crucifixion, Jesus entered deep trance, engineered an OBE and stayed in this state for 2 or 3 days.
13) On the third morning, he descended from trance and re-entered his body.
14) Matthew, Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene greeted the resurrected Jesus at the mouth of the tomb where he lay.
15) Jesus confronted Paul and initiated him into the yoga by infusing into Paul's consciousness the activated Mantra ("Ra") of the Illumined Mind Plane.
16) Paul went on to become Jesus' greatest direct disciple and was a great yogi who experienced the supramental infused in the Illumined Mind and in the Intuitive Mind and in some of the sub-planes of the Overmind. Paul spoke of the immortal physical body but did not have detailed knowledge of the supermind nor of the process of supramentalization of individual being and earth matter.
17) Jesus left with his mother, Mary, for India and entered India via the Bolan Pass in the Himalayas, while Mary Magdalene, Jesus' wife, left with their son and a few select disciples for Europe where the descendants of Jesus and Mary Magdalene live in Spain at present and have with them the true copy of the NT. I will be travelling to Spain to collect the true copy of the NT and to bring the descendants to India.
(I am experiencing an indrawn condition with horripilations as I am typing this).
18) Mother Mary did not survive the journey into India and expired in a small Himalayan village that has been named "Muree" in her memory. Her damaged Jewish tomb stands in Muree till this day and is in Pakistan.
19) Jesus stayed for sometime in the Buddhist monastery called Himmis in Ladakh in the Himalayas.
20) Jesus solved the dispute between the warring sects of Buddhism and was received by Emperor Kanishka in Kashmir.
21) Jesus left his body at the age of 80 and his Jewish tomb stands in Rozabal in Srinagar in Kashmir.

Speeches afterwords were rationalizations. If we had really given a hoot, we would of been involved a lot earlier. Similar to the siuation with Syria.
rabbee: well when G-D commands a world war to happen, what makes any of you think, your getting outta it? like G-D commanding TheTorah to all happen again, where the whole world only thinks there getting outta of IT. because mr lizard lips and his rouges, only say were not here in IT. in this world just always dumb enough again, to believe the more subtle than anyother beast of the fields.

Taking my side?

How childish!

It would be an insult to me had you rushed to take my side simply because you happen to be my friend.

I want you to side with truth and justice at all times and to keep an open mind to the extent that you're capable of.

Understand?

Superficial words.

The law of cause and effect doesn't work in that way as understood by Jesus.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Scorpio

You're in a very romantic and sentimental state today. You're also feeling quite sensitive and vulnerable, so you won't want to be around anyone you find abrasive or aggressive. If you meet someone for the first time now you'll think they're wonderful and your relationship will always involve putting them on a pedestal. But don't be too idealistic. They are human, remember!
