Maybe one of your wonderful sermons about you going to "heaven" to live forever in bliss with Jewish-Jesus could pull me out of my funk.
I doubt it ... but you could give it another SPIN!
:)
I don't give sermons either, sorry.

Humans are born as blank slates. If cave-dwellers taught their young religion, it is because other cave-dweller "parents" first taught them.
Feral children knew nothing of religion. They only knew what they learned from the animals in their midst ... which was "survival."
Someone had to start it and be the first liar, right?

Well thank you for that insight ... I guess.

No I haven't. You slip and slide around the issue ... but the basis of Christianity is that some are saved and most burn in hell.

And from your posts, it's plain that you believe you know you will be with the ones who "deserve" salvation.

You would be pleased if everyone was saved ... but if not, you are content to believe that at least YOU are worthy of salvation.

Of course. The first one to proclaim he/she saw or met with a god was a liar.

You preach religion as fact ... and that is sermonizing.

This post is very disjointed. It makes no sense.
I'll make it plain.

Do you believe that Jehovah was and is Jesus ONLY father, and that you should therefore pray TO Jehovah?

Now now. You defend your evil and she'll defend hers. I'm surprised people can tell you apart:-)
Yet while you argue with DayStorm about how his religion is not up to yours ... you are busy also playing the one-upmanship game within religion.

I just don't see worth in any religion ... including yours ... whatever brand it might be!

If I favored your religion, which once the case ... you would not be insulting me, but calling me your "friend" as was the case back then.

Once I started disagreeing with you, you started stating that I was mentally ill.

Let me repeat. I believe in an afterlife with God if you want one. If you don't believe in an afterlife or don't want one you won't have one. For me just being dead and rotting in a grave separated from God would be hell but that is what some people want and expect. I suppose they won't be disappointed.

Back when I believed that all roads led to home in the sky ... Svaha and I got along just great.

But now I get insults from Svaha as being dogmatic.

I now believe I was dogmatic when I was IN religion aligned to Svaha's TASTE!

But back then Svaha knew best, and I knew best.

Now, I have to admit that I don't know the answers to mysteries.

DayStorm and Svaha still believe they know ... but they just don't agree on what they are certain they know ... yet we are expected to take lessons from them.

So, if you pray to Jehovah, that must mean that you don't believe you have another god that answers your prayers ... RIGHT.

After all ... don't forget that according to your Christian dogma ... there is only ONE god!

And if the God is Jehovah ... then you should "rightfully" be a Jew ... RIGHT???

AGAIN you avoided to confront the issue of others burning in hell which is the BASIS of your Christian dogma.

You are so very evasive ... which makes you dishonest ... even to your self.

According to the dogmas, Jehovah sent Jesus to earth ... not to be the leader of a new religion ... but to be a faithful Jew to Jehovah.

Christianity is based on a total LIE, and there is no getting around that issue.

I am being completely honest in what I tell you and I don't need you to tell me what I believe. I am very confident in my faith.

I was baptised and I don't think many Jews are. Guess I am not a Jew.

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Aquarius

In complete contrast to yesterday, you have your head screwed on firmly today. Yet you won't be boringly sensible or drearily practical, so there's no danger of you having turned into a dry old stick overnight. It's a good day for keeping track of important details and processes, such as confirming a forthcoming appointment or filling in a form and then making a copy of it before sending it off.
