Did Jesus try to "dictate" everyone's path when He said He was "the way" and that no one can come to His Father but through Him?

joey, do you know what that means??? "I am the Way.....", joey, the Way is the path of love He gave us to follow. He did DICTATE that Way for all, but our paths to the Way are all uniquely ours. No two are the same. I have no quarrel with with those who follow other Ways, as long as they are honestly seeking that Way. I do bristle at hypocrites who claim to follow the Way of Jesus and then avoid the path.

jesus said that we must become as a child... that means that we are to absolutely forget everything we've been told by anybody... to unlearn everything which we think that we've ever learned and to start fresh with the aid of the holy spirit... not the church, not your mommy, and certainly not some church educated priest whose only agenda is to keep his church rolling high. what he wants is for you to turn your back on the church and follow his teachings... not those of the heretic, saul of tarsus.

Why would He refer to Himself??? How could He be a "WAY"??? You need instuctions to find a Way, just like any place you are trying to find. HE GAVE INSTRUCTIONS!!! If you direct your path towards the love of God and the love of your neighbor, you are on the WAY to everlasting life. It's His roadmap. God is also the AAA of the journey, and helps you out each step of the "WAY". Just try it joey. Baby steps. You'll be glad you did.
