Islam is a made up religion. It was fabricated by the self-proclaimed "prophet" in order to legitimize hi deviant sociopathic behavior. The man Muhammad was clearly a criminally insane mass murderer, pedophile, necrophiliac, thief, liar rapist. He orchestrated his 'religion" around this aberrant collection of offenses to create a veritable carte blanche for himself and his twisted obsessions. Muhammad was pure evil and islam is his Frankenstein's monster.

Muslims are crazy people. Their minds are screwed up by Mohammed's false teachings. Muslims are Zombies, they are void of intelligent thought.

They are rather distasteful, especially the Middle Eastern variety.

Marco the atheist wrote: <quoted text> And exactly what religion is NOT made up? If we recognise that all religions are made up then they should be looked upon as philosophies and not granted any special status as religions. Any religion that calls jews apes and swine should be prosecuted for racism. Any religion that treats women as second class citizens should be prosecuted for misogyny. Aany religion that discrimnates against gays should be prosecuted for homophobia. Any religion that calls for the death of pagans should be prosecuted for incitement to murder.

Well, mostly; I'm not a big fan of legal battles. It would already help a lot not giving religions special privileges. I mean, slaughterhouses here can get huge fines if they slaughter animals without being anesthesized...unless that slaughter is in connection with the jewish or muslim rituals. What's that about?! Rules for one, exceptions for others?!

islam is nothing more than a poorly constructed pack of lies, based on nothing more substantial than the ravings of an alcaholic, theiving paedophile.

Islam advocates murder. It is the vilest of all man's religious fables.

If you insist on putting a negative spin on it...I guess you could call it "mass murder". Either way, we are talking about muslims.....as in the case of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.....countless more valuable lives will be saved by reducing the enemies of civilized humanity to blind chaos.

Pleaseeeeee, lets not get into whether a religion is 'made up' or not. All the religions: Christian, Buddhist, Atheism, Islam, Zorastrian, Hinduism, Judaism, etc., can perhaps be judged as to validity by their time on this planet, number of adherents, effects historically, etc.; but people created them all (whether divinely inspired is the question). All are based upon faith, and none can be proved or disproved by facts. Now that is not a weakness, as they are 'faiths'. If they were provable empirically, they would no longer be faiths. Simply judge them by the good they do, or the bad they do. And note the practical effects of each: are their adherents noted for their hard work ethic? For their peacefulness? For the interest they take in helping others during time of emergency? For their ability to get along with those of other faiths? Etc.
