Robby only drives in Cup just to make enough money to do other stuff he likes, such as Off Road and IRL. Besides, when has he ever really been a contender for a win where it wasnt a road course? Robby had to drive for himself, because he'll be the boss and whoever is dumb enough to drive for him, will have to work with them to get a paycheck. Robby has no real talent at drivin stock cars, he was just a last minute replacement for Skinner and i think RCR really felt sorry for him. How many wins does Robby have, what three? And where did he get them, at RCR. He's not goin to succeed drivin for himself, as well as Mikey wont. The only way they'll be successful is if they get out of the drivers seat and just do their job as an owner, their racin careers in Cup, if you want to call what they've accomplished in Cup a career, is over and they need to face reality. Neither could make it to the finish of a race if it was just them two in it!
Are you saying Jr is dumb too??? Didn't Robby drive a couple BUSCH races for him last year????

<quoted text>Let me explain something to you, Bill. All NASCAR fans aren't rednecks or stupid. Some of us have college degrees, own our own businesses and are successful people. From reading your post that I am responding to I don't think your high english teacher would give you a passing grade on your punctuation and grammer. Whether open wheel fans want to admit it or not, presently NASCAR is the place to be for the money in the sport of racing. No amount of trying to degrade NASCAR fans will change that. Quite frankly, in the racing world, what championships Robby Gordon has won in any type of racing are meaningless compared to a Nextel Cup Championship, something he will only admired in some other driver's trophy case.
Spoken with the unmitigated arrogance of someone who only believes what the media tells him to believe.

Do you think John Force cares? Do you think Colin Mcrae cares? Do you think Joe Janiak cares? Do you think Adrian Carrio cares?

Who are those guys? you may ask. I thought so.

NASCAR racing is but one form of racing. Robby Gordon has conquored (misspelled just for you to take your shots at) in more forms than most ever dare run.

When you have a better base of knowledge about racers you'll understand.

I wasnt a big fan of that, but it's funny that he ran better in Jr's car in two races than he did in his own at the regular tracks. But with him bein in a crappy Ford now, Jr wont be makin a bad decision like that again.
Yeah, that was a bad decision alright. Jr ran 2nd and Robby ran 3rd. Those kinds of "bad decisions" keep the bills paid and the sponsors happy.

Actually, Jr won that race, he didnt finish second. And the bills would still have been paid even if Robby hadnt of drivin for Jr. Navy wasnt goin to take off if Robby didnt drive the car!
That's the race they tag-teamed and punted Carl Edwards......Jr and Robby finished one, two, then Carl finished with a little door knock......

That's true, but do you think Navy would rather run up front or in the back?

Now if he would only switch careers. As a representative of America competing in the Dakar Rally, he is the poorest example of an American myself and many other off-roaders can think of. It's a shame.

Well, he might want to have that IRL team and car ready for when he fails in Nascar, and he will! Just watch and see! And to me, yes, Nascar is the only true kind of racing. It's a team sport without the help of computers in the car DURING raceday. It's a driver having to communicate with his team on the changes, not just pressing a button and it's fixed. Nascar is the only true sport, to hell with all the others!
rcr dei fan, you really are a dumb ass get your facts correct before you open your pie hole.
