What does NASCAR and politics have in common? You turn to the left, you're running in circles; you turn to the right, you get stonewalled; either way your life is still in the pits!

Very good analogy on the left and right turns, Provock. I know a bootlegger who can go from 0-60 mph in 30 seconds with her little white Chrysler Crossfire, Virginia Patriot. Any relation to Voice of Reality, who seems to know it all and is a racist like you. Plus insulting the First Lady like that is crass and crude.

Going 0-60 in several seconds is not difficult. just push on the pedal on the right. However, exceeding this speed by over 100 mph over a couple hundred miles with 43 other drivers fighting to reach the end before you is a bit more difficult. Bootleggers rarely rely on fast cars now days. Modern technology and air craft can track their vehicles wherever they go, so law enforcement does not have to engage in a dangerous chase for non-critical situations. Modern bootleggers rely on stealth and inconspicuous driving as not to bring attention to themselves. Since alcohol is permitted for sale in most areas, and where it is not, the nearest place for legal purchase is just a county away and often for much cheaper prices and higher quality than what can be bought by the "black market"... those that still run shine does so for the sake of tradition rather than for demand of it. And Michelle ain't a lady by any means. It is an insult to our entire Nation for her to even walk through the White House, however, I do not comment much on her as she is not an elected official and is nothing more than a face for blacks to look at in order to make them think that they had accomplished something.(In reality, it just comes to show that no matter how successful a black becomes, they still depend on tax money and government housing)lol Yes, I am a racist and proud of the fact that I can see the physical differences between our races and understand the differences between our cultures, traditions, heritage and values.

Lenny Kravitz wasn't booed last week and I have never heard anyone boo a black minister that was giving the invocation. Michelle was booed for politicing for her husband under the guise of supporting veterans, not because she is a black woman. This veteran can see right through her and her husband who has threatened multiple times to stop paying our fighting men and women before cutting back on spending.

Probably the Obama campaign people when it was a photo op for NASCAR and the veterans being honored that day. It was a real coup to get the First Lady to attend a redneck, dishonorable event like that. Took a lot away from the NASCAR image.

Voice of Reality wrote: <quoted text> So, now you are saying that the world is seeing it's second perfect person? The biggest problem with the First Lady is that she is married to the first idiot in charge. On a more personal note, this woman is going around telling people how to eat and to be honest, she is not the picture of perfection. She could stand to do some exercise and she really needs to order the late night butt lift DVDs. There is much, much too much junk in THAT trunk. Don't forget the mug on her shoulders, Dam that is one ugly woman.

Honor, American Military, and Obama should never be used in the same sentence. Obama's honor for our military is so far removed from reality. Obama just cut $13 billion from military health care. Tells military families to pay for their own health benefits. Is that what you call honor and respect? Damm you have some pretty f'd up morals Skippy. But then it should be expected from the brain dead lemming liberals.

Who the hell are you guys to be insulting to the First Lady of our United States of America? Get used to it for another four years after the November election. At least it would feed fodder to your derelict opinions. The culprits are Gorgeous George, Verse of Realty, Hilton Ahead, Redrummer Boy and, last but not least, Virginia Retrobate, that crochety old buzzard who is proud to be a racist. You should talk about looks, Virginny, peeek in the mirror, will you?

Wait, maybe we are being to hard on Joe. I'm sure if he is this upset about Michele Obama being booed at a NASCAR race, then certainly he must be more upset when Bush was treated so poorly. You know like effigies being burnt, shoes thrown at, etc. Possibly Joe just has a really big heart and does not like people being ridiculed. I'm sure he stands up for everyone when treated so severely.

Damm you have some pretty f'd up morals Skippy. But then it should be expected from the brain dead lemming liberals. I'll bet you have even more "honorable" wars to sacrifice our men women and children in? September 2007: McCain voted against the Webb amendment calling for adequate troop rest between deployments. At the time, nearly 65% of people polled in a CNN poll indicted that "things are going either moderately badly or very badly in Iraq. July 2007: McCain voted against a plan to drawdown troop levels in Iraq. At the time, an ABC poll found that 63% thought the invasion was not worth it, and a CBS News poll found that 72% of respondents wanted troops out within 2 years. March 2007: McCain was too busy to vote on a bill that would require the start of a drawdown in troop levels within 120 days with a goal of withdrawing nearly all combat troops within one year. Around this time, an NBC News poll found that 55% of respondents indicated that the US goal of achieving victory in Iraq is not possible. This number has not moved significantly since then. February 2007: For such a strong supporter of the escalation, McCain didn’t even bother to show up and vote against a resolution condemning it. However, at the time a CNN poll found that only 16% of respondents wanted to send more troops to Iraq (that number has since declined to around 10%), while 60% said that some or all should be withdrawn. This number has since gone up to around 70%. June 2006: McCain voted against a resolution that Bush start withdrawing troops but with no timeline to do so. May 2006: McCain voted against an amendment that would provide $20 million to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for health care facilities. April 2006: McCain was one of only 13 Senators to vote against $430,000,000 for the Department of Veteran Affairs for Medical Services for outpatient care and treatment for veterans. March 2006: McCain voted against increasing Veterans medical services funding by $1.5 billion in FY 2007 to be paid for by closing corporate tax loopholes. March 2004: McCain once again voted for abusive tax loopholes over veterans when he voted against creating a reserve fund to allow for an increase in Veterans' medical care by $1.8 billion by eliminating abusive tax loopholes. Jeez, McCain really loves those tax loopholes for corporations, since he voted for them over our veterans' needs. October 2003: McCain voted to table an amendment by Senator Dodd that called for an additional $322,000,000 for safety equipment for United States forces in Iraq and to reduce the amount provided for reconstruction in Iraq by $322,000,000. August 2001: McCain voted against increasing the amount available for medical care for veterans by $650,000,000. To his credit, he also voted against the 2001 Bush tax cuts, which he now supports making permanent, despite the dire financial condition this country is in, and despite the fact that he indicated in 2001 that these tax cuts unfairly benefited the very wealthy at the expense of the middle class. So there it is. John McCain is yet another republican former military veteran who likes to talk a big game when it comes to having the support of the military. Yet, time and time again, he has gone out of his way to vote against the needs of those who are serving in our military. If he can’t even see his way to actually doing what the troops want, or what the veterans need, and he doesn’t have the support of veterans, then how can he be a credible commander in chief?
