Tony Stewart Lashes Out At Reporter Who Asks If NASCAR's 'Too Safe' [Racing News]

Way to go Tony what the heck who wants to see drivers hurt.

Just thought this was funny, it's not what the article says but it's something i noticed during the interview,A reporter says she asked dale Jarrett on why he thought nascar viewing is down and that he (Dale Jarrett) responded "it's because of fewer accidents".So she asks tony Stewart if he feels the same and he responds to the effect of that's totally stupid as if it was the reporter's thoughts on why viewing was down.
But he was actually calling Dale Jarrett an Idiot and showing how big of one he (Tony Stewart)is.
...and then everyone pats Tony on the Back as if he showed that damn reporter.
This proves nascar is full of morons

Ah, this coming from the guy who ran into Jeff Gordon after a race on purpose in the post race inspection lane!

...And the reporter tried to stop him, LOL

Heres how I see it...ratings are down for 2 reasons, everyone is SICK Nascar kissing JJs ass everytime he crys and because everyone is tired of sitting through a 200+ lap race when there is NO AND I MEAN NO racing till the last 50 laps or so.

I agree with Tony, being TOO safe isnt the issue, most of us LOVE the wrecks thats why Dega is so appealing but we know that 99% of the time the driver will be fine. The problem is in the drivers they parade around the track instead of actually giving us a show, seriously whats the point of 250 laps why not cut it to 60 laps.

Im hoping that with the new rule allowing drivers to police themselves.....we will get back to old school racing.

Well do you think people watch racing to see the wrecks? he said he did not think so ...its a dumb question Tony was right....its kind of like asking dale jr how does it feel to loose your dad at the hospital the night he died....dumb question...Media has all day to think up good questions to ask ...they can come up with better.

He did wink at her at the end though so I think he was somewhat toying with her.

Yea he should be really mean to a probably new reporter with little experience that makes him a BIG man. What an @SS. No excuse.

That was not hard to understand

She then told him Dale Jarretts reply,
then asked if he felt the same way?
His reply was to call the reporter stupid for what Dale Jarrett said.
And included in the end it was his view, not hers

Not the reporters fault, Tony just flustered and called Dale Jarrett an idiot.

Dale Jarrett said the same thing I guess he's not worthy of opinion either. He wants to see them all die I suppose.

She asked Dale Jarrett why he felt NASCAR was losing viewers,gave Tony Dales reply to the question and then asked Tony if he felt the same way as Dale.

and she asked a question that unnerves alot of drivers... dumb idea... drivers do not like to think anything but they are invincable. wrecks fires and invinciability are not questions you ask drivers. they do not like going to funerals they are supersticious for the most part....Ie... you talk about it it happens they do not want to think about that because you do not want it to happen.

Tony was mean to that reporter. lol

BTW this article is about Tony lashing out at the reporter, not if you think Tony is right with his opinions.

From reading the TS forum, I'd say a MAJORITY of his fans are just as rude as he is. He is a great driver who can drive the wheels off almost anything, and magnanimous in his giving to charities. Having said that, he is still an ass.

Pardon me but I think it's best to respect your colleagues.
