Look for Danica Patrick to finish AHEAD of Toney Stewart.

Lmao he would win either way even if he races doing Alan Kulwiki laps. Danica will be lucky to have an average finish in top 20. The big boys will send her packing. JMO As I said hard to respect some one who is by choice the T & A of the sport.

Its possible but highly unlikely....last lap pass...yeah!Tony wins Tony wins (cheering all around) I will give you he would push her to the victory if he can not win....he would Ryan as well.

Far from clairvoyant, but I don't see any of SHR winning at Daytona, least of all DP...let's hope I'm wrong.......?

He couldn't win back to back championships with Zippy, and I think it's my lack of confidence in Addington, that keeps me from expecting it this year.

With all the promising drivers vying for a Sprint Cup ride, the only advantage I give DP is she brings in more marketing $$$. I'm still not sure what strings Tony pulled to even get her into the 500. I'm an advocate of equal pay for equal work, so I'm hoping she's treated like one of the guys (nothing more, nothing less)and she can prove she can successfully compete in their world. I will be the first to admit I'll be totally surprised if that happens at Daytona, or even this season.

She let Smoke buy her a spot in the 500.Which means she does not have to qualify or race her way in. J/S

J/S I wish Nascar would fill in the loopholes so things like that didn't happen. This is from the Daytona 500 website - and IMO if this statement is to be true, drivers should earn their spots -'Forty-three of the top drivers in the world compete in “The Great American Race,” NASCAR's biggest, richest and most prestigious motorsports event.'

J/S in case you are not aware of this.. "past champions" have been taking up spots in many races each year in order for which teams to benefit??? Danica's points were BOUGHT.. too many times a past chap is put in in order to throw a WRENCH into other teams.. which is down and dirty.. past Champs like Terry labonte sell their soul in order to deterr competitors from having an equal shot as which BIG team??(HMS of course).. Tony for his sponsor is now giving far more value to a team that could not in any way ever get what Tony is offering them.. it is fair and square.

Those aren't "loopholes", that's the way WWE NASCAR operates.

And I've read there is some concern the comparison may become more obvious with John Cena waving the green flag at Daytona. ;) Actually, I'm cool with John Cena. They say he is the most requested entertainer/sports figure for the children's Make a Wish Foundation, so he must be a good role model.

All I know is that Danica will compete in the 500 and Tony arranged it. I don't know what he did and I don't understand what his status as a past champ has to do with it. I've never paid much attention to that kind of stuff before. Thanks, Cat
