Funny thing about that area of the country where you have the world's worst Sheetz sitting just off of Rt. 50 between the K-Mart and the little second rate college. You also can hold claim to one of the world's worst motels in Echo Village on Rt. 11 just off of exit 310 on Rt. 81.
The high point of that area is a little place called Stephen City that is right next to a run down fairgounds that holds year round flea markets inside of the steel building that has so many pictures of third tier pro rasslers who have done "Battle" in that little place on Rt. 522 just down from a portion of the road that honors the original country slut, Patsey Cline.

I once attended a fair amount of races from Daytona, to Rockingham, to Darlington, to Charlotte, to Martinsville and at Richmond. Today I would not go 20 miles to see a big three race, in fact on Labor day I will go to Summit Point and Winchester Speedway and if I want to leave a day early might go to Haggerstown first. Everybody I know that went to Charlotte this past week will tell you that the WOO race on Friday was the best racing of the weekend.

Speaking about meeting the so called big boys, in his rookie year I had the pleasure of helping to throw Darrel Waltrip out of our pits at Rockingham. By the way, the driver I helped pit for won the rookie of the year award that year. He only won one race but he did win that rookie of the year award.
