islamic killers have been killing israeli citizens for decades. they have the right to protect themselves. israel offered to let the ships go to an israeli port. the palistinian supporters only wanted a confrontation to bring world opinion to bear on israel. they got their confrontation and ten of them are dead. God bless israel.

fenster, israel is at war with most of the arabic states. they have been since the birth of their nation. i believe that you know the history of the arabic attacks on israel. these ships carrying aid is just another attack. why did they have to include items that would strenghten hamas killers whose stated objective is to kill every jewish man, woman, and child. i sincerly hope you are having a good memorial day.

ordinarily, i would agree with you, but this time i know the irish people sent one of the boats with food aid. the irish as you know were a presecuted people who were starved during the great famine. people did try to send aid, but the british through their blockade, prevented such aid from reaching ireland, many irish died with green on their lips from trying to eat grass. many more were forced into the great exodus from ireland. these events were seared into the irish consciousness to the point that the irish feel visceral pain when they see other peoples being persecuted and starved, so, they are compelled to act. this is not political, they csre not about israeli arab relations, they care about humans, this is puirely humanitarian.thankyou for wishing me a good memorial day, i wish the same to you.

fenster, i am aware of the potato famine and the irish migration that followed. i also know a little of the scotish and irish struggle against british oppression. i am not aware of an irish famine caused by a british naval blockade. i don't know the origin of my ancestors, but i have an unexplained, close feeling of kinship with the irish people.

. the british blockade did not cause the famine. the potato crops failed because of a mold. ireland was a larg producer of wheat at the time, but the british government would not divert the wheat to feed the irish. the blockade was to prevent sid from entering ireland. so, whhile the british did not cuse the famine, they prevented it from being remediated . ireland still has not recovered its population to this day.the british had then a very anti-celtic outlook.

the video mentioned a metal pipe, a shock grenade, a molotov bottle, and a soldier being thrown to a lower deck. if one of us found ourselves being attacked with any of these weapons, how would we respond?

actually, i would have thrown a soldier to a lower deck. pirates board ships in the dark in international waters. wearing uniforms? how do you know they were real?i would have thrown a fire extinguisher, i would have thrown a folding chair. i would have used whatever was at hand to defend myself from those marauders

actually turkey recalled its ambassador, it said it could not have its representative in a rogue state/ does that make turkey israel's enemy?it is beginning to look as if israel is going to lose more nation's representatives as well/ soes that mean the israel enemy list is growing very long indeed?
