Judged: 1 1 1 I'm glad he isn't on the streets anymore. This video is proof that until this is all over that he shouldn't be roaming free. He has anger issues and who knows what else. He is a danger to society right now. No bail is the right amount for him. And lets see what happens once this gets to court. |

Judged: 2 2 1 Yeah, OK, the videographer/reporter also forced Todd to throw that brick at them. That was all a setup too, I suppose?? No, I think what happened is that Mr. Todd didn't like having a camera in his face or people questioning him about the allegations of sexual molestation of children. I think that any normal sane logical person would have just walked away from the questions if they didn't want to answer them. Instead, Mr. Todd chose to commit another assault, and it was all on tape in front of a cop. There are probably pretty good reasons why the police want this man in jail, and it is probably based on the evidence gathered throughout a year long investigation. Mr. Todd may be claiming it is about money and extortion, but that is probably just a defense mechanism to deflect the blame and focus away from him. I am sure that if there is any validity to his claim, the investigative reports will show that and it will all come out during the trial. It is good that he is in jail right now. He is a danger to others, and that was pretty apparent with his behavior on that video. He was resisting arrest, for Pete's sake, after throwing a brick at another human and verbally accosting them for asking questions that many have!! It seems that he doesn't think that he's done anything wrong! This TV crew wasn't attacking the man personally, they just wanted a statement from him. He came off looking like a real loose cannon, one that shouldn't be trusted outside of the jailbars until he's had a chance to face his accusers. Any bail bondsman would be crazy to take a chance on this guy at this point. |

Judged: 2 1 1 He ain't gonna like it when he's in prison. They don't like child molestors. I think he's gonna get his donut stuffed....then again he might like it. |

Judged: 1 This guy lived in Florida too, any issues like this down there? He owns property in Troy and Schenectady, yet N.Y.S. only lists him as owning the doughnut, and plaza sites. What's up w/ that? I remember recently his being connected with legal problems in Schenectady. What happened with that? Wasn't there other people involved with this too? Did he ever travel out of state with any of these kids? Isn't that a Federal involvement? This guy sure doesn't appear very educated. 62 years old and the Doughnut Shop is his first retail venture. Who else was behind this guy all these years? |

Judged: 4 2 2 You are a trouble maker and a busy-body. You are correct, he is not an educated man; but then again a college degree is nothing more than a license to steal. |

Judged: 2 1 1 So why am I a trouble maker. These are all facts, and with this guys actions, everything is due investigating. Why are you standing up for him? |

Judged: 2 2 1 I don't know anything about this guy except what I read here, but to answer some of your questions, a person can inherit property or have it in the name of a corporation and not have it in their name. For example, the plaza which Mr. Todd supposedly owns, property records indicates the owner name as " Old Fort Plaza Inc" and a mailing address of 24 Willett St, and the property at 24 Willett lists the owner as "Dennis J Todd, Revocable Trust" (and, interesting note, the property was purchased for $1 from the Church of Jesus Christ in 09) and lists his mailing address as Deerfield Beach Fla. My public info also shows Todd owns a restaurant on State St in Schdy (I believe it is vacant) as well as a vacant piece of property in Glenville. And here is an interesting link to some info that may or may not be the same Dennis Todd: http://blog.timesunion.com/schenectady/foster... Scroll down to the comments and read the remarks on Comment # 5 . If it is the same Dennis Todd, he doesn't seem to be a very nice person. Google is a powerful tool. |

Judged: 1 I may have hit a nerve here. But one thing Fort Plain does not need is this guy if the allegations prove true. No amount of money is worth having him around. |

Judged: 2 1 1 OK! I have had enough!! I have known Dennis since I was 13 from the Big Brothers program! I know his parents, and they were wonderful people and they are doing the Eric Clapton thing, "tears from Heaven!" He used to work for the state also and has a $35,000 a year retirement pension. A lot of it he did inherit from his parents, but while he was working for the state, he also had his own investments and owned about 8-10 income properties and regular financial market investments. All the commercial property was owned by his parents, really his Dad is who ran everything. His parents also had a 2/2 villa in Deerfield Beach, FL which I have stayed in many times, now it is Dennis's along with a convertible corvette that is parked in that garage. He does own the plaza in troy, from inheritance also and the ground round. He told me he owns 6 companies! He has millions but that is no excuse for what he did, also to me when I was 13. I had to mail my statement to the Chief of Police. |

Judged: 2 1 1 But.. but... Here you are spilling your story on Topix? I just do not get it. This is the wrong group of mofos' to be sharing such a well thought out story such as yours to. Here is a great idea, go take your meds and take your story to the proper people before you say anything on here that might hinder any case you may have. |

Judged: 3 2 1 Instead of calling everyone trouble makers why don't you look at what this man has contributed to the area. Example: 42 Kellogg St.(Blue Bldg. behind Nice and Easy) one of his properties. It's a haven for dopers and druggies. Now child molestation. Obviously he cares only for himself. Who needs him around here you imbecile. |
