An Ohio-based evangelical church has permanently severed ties with a Portland-area clergyman exposed by The Oregonian in July as a former fugitive with a long history of deceit and fabrication.

The Churches of God General Conference terminated its $4,000-a-month contract with Dallas "Ari" Crockett, who calls himself a rabbi, and revoked his church credentials Sept. 7 after hiring a private investigator who confirmed The Oregonian's account of Crockett's past.

"If a man is going to lie to (church) leadership ... look us in the eye and lie to us, we just can't trust him, especially when there are so many accusations that he does this on a regular basis," said Pastor Earl Mills, president of the church's administrative council.

Word is that Dallas Ari Crockett is not calling himself a Rabbi or a Pastor, just "Teacher" and that the group has moved to NW Portland and is using a church location on NW Flanders. Dallas Ari Crockett to the mat. The site has actual
audio clips of Ari Crockett lying and plenty of documents where Ari Crockett contradicts himself. Time to move on to the next identity. Wonder what Dallas Ari Crockett will claim next? Especially after losing yet another legal battle against former members.

Tim Was braggin of how much he made by playing Rabbi--he loved the ego play also...I am so glad its about to end!

He is mentaly sick as you see from the court records. He is to be on meds also. He never received any counsling to cure him of his mental illness.
