My point is this. Without a voting majority in the Senate, how did they pass anything without Republican support.

Tsk tsk. Name calling within your first two words. You sound like danny boy.

What part of 'both the House and Senate were under Democratic majority' is confusing to you?

Do you imagine some distinction between 'majority' and your term 'voting majority'?

It just keeps getting better everyday and you libroids really believe your god Obama is going to win re-election.

Fast And Furious

A bombshell revelation contained in a memo written by congressional staffers on the Fast and Furious operation indicates that the drug cartel kingpins targeted by Federal law enforcement agencies were actually FBI informants.

The revelation has far reaching implications for the government's stated motivation for implementing Fast and Furious. The Obama Administration claims that the goal was to catch Mexican drug cartel kingpins by walking U.S. guns across the border, making sure that the weapons found their way in the hands of cartel criminals.

But if such 'criminals' were FBI informants, then the entire basis for conducting the operation was bogus and doomed to failure.

Not a single drug kingpin was arrested for gun and drug trafficking as a result of Fast and Furious. It is now becoming clear as to why no arrests were made. The criminals involved worked for the federal government of the United States.

This fact only underscores the charge made by ATF whistleblower agents from the beginning, that Fast and Furious was never intended to be a sting operation but from the start was a scheme concocted in the highest levels of the Obama Administration to send guns to Mexico in order to make it appear as if "90% of the firearms used by Mexican drug cartels came from the U.S." These false statistics could then be used to attempt to make a case for new gun control laws in the U.S., which Democrats on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform have wasted no time in doing.

The memo containing the bombshell revelation was reported in a news story published by USA Today.

And in a stinging indictment at the Fast and Furious Investigation website, the implications of the latest revelations are staggering:

It is just complete coincidence that a rabidly anti-gun President that told an anti-gun activist in a private meeting that he was working on gun control “under the radar” appointed a anti-gun Attorney General, who appointed a gun control architect as the U.S. Attorney over the same ATF office that included radically anti-gun agents that thought gun-walking was a great tactic to politicize border state firearms dealers and shut them down.

That is a lot to ask anyone to swallow, especially when the Administration still refuses to answer even the most basic questions about the operation, such as who came up with it, and who approved it.

Every bit of evidence dripping out of this poorly-conceived cover-up points to one, and only one plausible conclusion.

Barack Obama’s Administration was willing to sacrifice the lives of thousands of Mexican nationals and Mexican-Americans along the border states in an effort to blame gun dealers for crimes the Administration committed, solely in the hopes of using those deaths to bolster their unpopular dream of reinstating the failed Clinton-era assault weapon ban...

...The longer this investigation drags on and the more evidence that comes forward, the more apparent it is that murder was a tool the Obama Administration was willing to exploit in what is the deadliest political scandal in American political history.

All of this is all the more reason for Speaker Boehner and Congressman Issa to pursue the perpetrators with utmost urgency.

Obama has to help his fellow Muslims at the expense of us Americans.

Obama Proposes $800 MILLION to Arab Spring

(Reuters)- The White House announced plans on Monday to help "Arab Spring" countries swept by revolutions with more than $800 million in economic aid, while maintaining U.S. military aid to Egypt.

In his annual budget message to Congress, President Barack Obama asked that military aid to Egypt be kept at the level of recent years --$1.3 billion -- despite a crisis triggered by an Egyptian probe targeting American democracy activists.

The proposals are part of Obama's budget request for fiscal year 2013, which begins October 1. His requests need the approval of Congress, where some lawmakers want to cut overseas spending to address U.S. budget shortfalls and are particularly angry at Egypt.

Obama proposed $51.6 billion in funding for the U.S. State Department and foreign aid overall, when $8.2 billion in assistance to war zones is included. The "core budget" for the category would increase by 1.6 percent, officials said.

Most of the economic aid for the Arab Spring countries --$770 million -- would go to establish a new "Middle East and North Africa Incentive Fund," the president said in his budget plan.

Analysts said it was difficult to tell how much of the proposal was actually new money.

"As presented it's very difficult to determine if the Arab spring fund is new wine in new bottles or old wine in new bottles," said John Norris, a former U.S. foreign aid worker now at the Center for American Progress.

The Middle East and North Africa Incentive fund "will provide incentives for long-term economic, political, and trade reforms to countries in transition -- and to countries prepared to make reforms proactively," the White House budget document said.

The proposal said this approach "expands our bilateral economic support in countries such as Tunisia and Yemen, where transitions are already underway."

It would also build on other programs for the area, including up to $2 billion in regional Overseas Private Investment Corporation financing, up to $1 billion in debt swaps for Egypt, and approximately $500 million in existing funds re-allocated to respond to the region last year, the budget document said.

It did not say how the Middle East and North Africa Incentive Fund would be divided between countries, or give any other details of the plan.

Egypt has long been among the top recipients of U.S. aid, getting about $1.6 billion annually, mostly in military assistance. In fiscal 2012,$250 million of aid approved for Egypt was economic; $1.3 billion was military and there was a $60 million "enterprise fund" approved by Congress.

No U.S. assistance is moving to Egypt at the moment, U.S. lawmakers and their aides said last week. Some legislators favor cutting off aid to Egypt entirely if it does not drop accusations against American democracy activists and lift a travel ban on them.

Obama continued the practice of putting proposed foreign assistance for war zones in a separate account. This account, known as the "Overseas Contingency Operations," includes $8.2 billion for the State Department and foreign aid.

It includes $3.3 billion for Afghanistan,$1 billion for Pakistan, and $4 billion for Iraq, where U.S. troops have left the country but the State Department has picked up some of their functions such as police training.

SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE We need to get the radical Muslim out of office quickly so his forced down our throats Obama Care can be removed.

Obamacare Premiums To Rise Dramatically

Over the weekend it was revealed that MIT economist Jonathan Gruber, the chief architect of ObamaCare, backtracked on the analysis he performed two years ago. He told officials in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Colorado the price of insurance premiums will “dramatically increase” under the reforms.

http://frontpagemag.com/2012/02/13/obamacare-...

Once again for the Obama administration, lofty promises are giving way to hard reality. On September 22, 2010, in an informal discussion regarding the healthcare bill, the president contended that “as a consequence of the Affordable Care Act, premiums are going to be lower than they would be otherwise; health care costs overall are going to be lower than they would be otherwise.

And that means, by the way, that the deficit is going to be lower than it would be otherwise.”

That was then.

Gruber didn’t merely rebut the president’s contention. He rebutted his own, made in 2009, after he reviewed a report by the insurance industry that contended premiums would rise sharply with the passage of the healthcare bill.

At that time Mr. Gruber argued that the industry report failed to take into account government subsidies provided to help moderate-income Americans purchase insurance, or administrative overhead costs he predicted would “fall enormously” once insurance polices were sold through the anticipated government-regulated marketplaces, or exchanges.

“If you literally take the data from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) you can see that individuals will be saving money in a nongroup market,” he said.

The CBO was less sanguine, saying it couldn’t forecast what would happen to premiums because “so many uncertain variables come into play.”

Some of the so-called variables surrounding Obamacare have already come into play.

First and foremost were the waivers to the plan, issued by an administration with a track record of doing favors for certain constituencies. The actual number of waivers granted remains in question. The Hill claims that as of January, 1,231 companies had received waivers from the plan. ABC News had the number at 1,471 in July of 2011.

On Friday June 17, 2011, the Obama administration announced it was ending the program as of September 22, 2011 in order to avoid what the Huffington Post characterized as a “potential political distraction ahead of next year’s elections.”

Political albatross might have been a bit more accurate.

The next variable that came into play was the CLASS (Community Living Assistance Services and Supports) Act. The original premise of the CLASS Act, a government-sponsored long-term care plan similar to those available in the private sector, was that it would be self-supporting.

Those who signed up for the voluntary program would have paid a monthly premium of about $100 for insurance coverage promising cash benefits averaging no less than $50 a day.

Furthermore, the CBO, which scored the healthcare bill as reducing the deficit by $210 billion in the years 2012-2021, contended that $86 billion of these savings came from CLASS.

Why?

Because the program would have taken in premiums for five years, before it paid out claims, making it appear to be “deficit-reducing”–in the near term.

Yet there were doubts about the ability of the program to be self-sustaining from the start, especially if a smaller group of relatively---------->

The pseudo-science behind so-called race differences in IQ has been thoroughly and completely debunked.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mismeasure_o...

The "research" into this issue has been notably weak and shoddy.

But beyond the inferior scholarship on the issue, the motivation behind conducting it has never been clearly explained. Why do people want to know this? What purpose does this research serve?

In the past, this type of "research" was used to justify the eugenics movement. The findings were used for monstrously evil ends - from discriminatory immigration laws to forced sterilization all the way up to the horror of the Nazis.

So why bring it up at all? What's the point?

Here is something to think about. Right now the GOP is bickering between themselves. Remember how Hillary Clinton and Obama did the same thing? People were fed up with it. Same thing is happening among the GOP candidates. Once the candidate is picked the polls will start changing again. The target will then be Obama.
Right now it's too far out to read anything in the polls.
Once it's down to Obama and whoever the republican is...then the polls will be a little more accurate.
This lib STILL says they mean nothing.

I'm just bringing it up to point out the hypocrisy of the rightwingers who used to give us daily updates on the polls. They've totally disappeared.

And it's obvious why they've run away, isn't it?
