Visaya,

Since the flooding the philippine central bank has been scamming 2 peso's off every U.S. dollar. Every bank, ATM, and currency exchange rate sites advertise 47p per dollar but when you withdraw its only 45p. You dont know what happended until you check your bank and do the math. With millions of U.S. currency coming in for disaster relief the scumbags in the government are skimming millions.

Just think of all the businesses that rely on the advertised exchange rate to move vast sums of dollars. Ive had this scam confirmed by central luzon corruption. Their reaping money at the expense of their own people's misery and the good nature of those trying to help.

Don, your issue should be brought to the attention of the bank managers. Save your receipt and claim the shortage. Don't let them scam you.

Right now, there are so many organizations asking for donation. We're still holding on to our own. Will request for the second collection during our Sunday mass and then will forward it perhaps to the Red Cross. But we want it to be given directly to the victims.

I was looking at the long single line which is very disorderly. Why can't they make four or five lines to make it easier and faster when they serve the pooridge.

Don, did you see any Catholic Church serving food or distributing something to the victims?
Here in San Francisco, even without flood or typhoon, religious Churches are the ones serving free food everyday.

I'm glad you and family are all right and seems your system is not submerged in water.

Take care!

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Leo

Today's Full Moon will affect your love life significantly during the next few months. You might have to say goodbye to someone you care about, or you may realize some difficult truths about your relationship. You may also have to make a tricky decision about a child or a creative project. Although this won't be a very easy time, don't make it worse by over-reacting and turning every hitch into a major drama.
