He was banned from seeking any elected office as a condition to his pardon. Hmm, nevermind! This is good for the administration's candidate. With so many of the opposition also seeking the "GOLDEN PRIZE" Teodoro can win with less then 25%. Only in the Philippines, lol.....

Zumus,

Man Erap looks like he just come out of central casting for a corrupt bananna republic movie. He even has the slicked back hair and the dark sunglasses. Oliver Stone could not have done a better job. Never mind he is forbidden by terms of his pardon after all to him law doesnt apply, thats how he got busted in the first place.

Erap left a paper trail miles long of his plunder, If the people elect him again I can officially say there is no hope for this country.

The only your Teodoro going to win if he CHEATED just like Gloria Arroyo, Has done during the 2004. Presidential election! In fact this time around CHEATING IS EASY AS 1,2,3. All the have to do is program the computer for their CHEATING OPERATION!

Nice spelling, lol. Many names, same rhetoric! Actually I can not vote in the Philippines and now read very closely as to the reason why: I am not Filipino. The simple and easy to understand post was to point out that with so many candidates in the hunt and the administration with very loyal followers, although certainly not the majority, it is possible to become president of this country with less than 25% of the vote.

As they say, only in the Philippines. Have you noticed COMELEC official Sarmiento is still in a top post. Believe he resigned for a day or two in 2007 for having ballot boxes in his hotel room and then decided to rehire himself, lol........

Very simple! The comelec itself are corrupt! During 2004 Presidential election the comelec officials the one do the CHEATING for Gloria Arroyo! Thats how she became the FAKE president of cebu.

Comes 2010 they're going to do the same thing~! once a CHEATER ALWAYS A CHEATER.

D Truth & they are crooks,

I was playing innocent. Of course corruption will win the day again. It does give a hard core legal point for the people to protest and raise hell over. Cant claim anything legal about certifying him so if they do the corruption will be too blatant.

Ever since Marcos messed up the country really bad no one after him has bother to be a decent politician, they all learned from Marcos, and it will keep going on until some sort of civil war breaks out, I believe the Philippines will not recover any time soon sad but that's how I see it, every other country in south east Asia (besides Burma) is trying to get better, Philippines it going the other way, steal as much as possible as fast as possible.
