Dogs rescued from butcher in the Philippines

People who eat dogs and/or cats are people who have missed a step on the evolutionary ladder.

what's wrong with eating dogs horses and monkeys? Why should fish, pigs, chickens, and cows bear the brunt of our carnivorous lust?

I think that anyone that eats animals (domestic animals) are sick>........ The bottom line is if you eat animals and you get cancer dont go crying to the dr office about a cure because you deserve to die. As far as farm animals, they don't deserve to be totured for human consumption.

Until some ppl here get a better socioeconomic situation the slaughter of dogs, and in some cases even rats, will continue to occur.

It's gross, agreed. But if you ask me, I do not see the eating of say baboy/pork/swine or certain seafoods as any more better or moral than that of dogs.

I believe the Creator gave dietary laws for the benefit of mankinds health (Lev.11). Neither Jesus or Peter changed that in the NT.

It's a culture thing going on, not a financial issue. Has been for a long time.

the government should also then criticize and ban the " PINIKPIKAN" that we practice in the North. PINIKPIKAN is one way of killing/ butchering the chicken by slowly BEATING it with a stick... all over the body to creat internal hemorrhage until it's last breath. We, sometimes called this "KILLING ME SOFTLY".

Because dogs are willing to give their lives to save yours. If someone broke into your home, a cat, cow, pig, etc… would continue with their naps while you were hacked or shot to death. A dog will raise holly hell when someone attacks their “people.“

God made certain animals allowable for human food consumption , and He warned not to even touch the unclean animals that are not aimed for same purpose, how much then less eat such.(Ref. Lev.11).

And, no, Jesus or Peter did not hocus-pocus make unclean animals "clean".

Good point. In my book its certainly not more moral to eat dogs than to eat pigs.

BY THE WAY...the Bible DOES say that sheep will go to heaven, whilst pigs and dogs will not.(Jesus died for His sheep, not any dog or hog).

Butchering dogs for human consumption in the Philippines is unlawful. If those so called civilized cultures(who should learn to understand that the Philippines is a multi-cultural nation)
should not "GENERALIZE" that the Philippines has a disgusting culture. Every culture on earth has a good and bad side. Even in those so called civilized nations who lack morality nowadays.

I myself believe that dogs should not be butchered because dogs consider their masters like gods and are very LOYAL pets. There should be a harsher punishment for slaughtering dogs.
