I need some help. We got a few rats after my daughter's therapist suggested pet therapy. Man, these things are awesome!

We have four, the spice girls : ginger, nutmeg, saffron and pepper.

Ginger has had blood in her urine and we did the vet thing and the antibiotics 2X but I think its a tumor instead. She acts 100% normal and my question about her is, could she be in pain and when do I know to put her down. I am sick to my stomach thinking she may be suffering and I can't find any info online about what I should do next.:(

Nutmeg is my favorite one and she was really sick a few weeks ago for a day, just acted all lethargic, etc. Then as soon as we noticed her head tilt, I researched her and found out about ear infections, so back to the vet. She is on day 8 of antibiotics. Her head tilt is still there and still bad. Her balance is off big time. This leaves me really sad b/c her favorite thing in the world is the exercise ball and she can't do that.:( Will her head tilt and balance get better? What should I do if it doesn't? When do I know when to put these girls down and if they are in misery :(

help!

Keep going to an expirienced vet and separate them! The other 2 could get sick so keep them in 3 separate cages! Cage #1: for the rat with blood coming in urine. Cage #2: the rat with the ear infection. Just keep her separate cuz u dont know 4 sure if it's just a ear infection. I'd its not it could be contagious. Cage #3: for the 2 healthy rats

Interesting to know about rat therapy. I recently got the rat extermination service done. My children often got afraid when they used to see rats at home.

My vet told me that the rats tears are red, so I'm guessing that what was coming out of the nose could be a similar fluid.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Capricorn

You're feeling slightly unconventional and you're looking for activities that will reflect your mood. You certainly won't be very keen on doing things that are drearily predictable or boring, although you'll grit your teeth and get on with them if you have no choice. But ideally you should do things on the spur of the moment, preferably in the company of people who make you feel alive and alert.
