Bought a bunny from here! Asked for a boy, she flipped him over and did the whole checking thing I've seen done in books/online. She confirmed it was a boy. He was home with us a whole week and started acting weird. Well turns out he's a she and she had a litter of baby bunnies!!! They KNOW NOTHING. On top of that when we went in there to pick out the bunny the whole pet room stunk. The dogs were loud (I'm sure that's not good for sensitive hearing animals) and clearly in need of exercise. there was a kitty in the middle of the walkway (caged) hissing at passerby's. I was so grossed out, I wanted to take every single animal in there and find them new homes! This place needs to be shut down.

Wow... Corbet's is still like that? I went there around 8 years ago and I remember my mom saying how dirty and poorly kept the store was when we left the building.
As I remember it, the dogs were in small, dirty, cages cluttered around the room, constant barking was going on, and the lady who was working there at that time was periodically spraying an aerosol can of scented-whatever into the air.
...it's too bad because so far as I've seen, they had the best selection in exotic fish. I don't remember the condition of the tanks though.

also, i'm pretty sure comment #3 by "custumer" is just a 'troll', a joke meant to be passively taunting..... or one of the owners trying to understand why their hard work isn't appreciated.
Because that is just the absolute opposite of the reality and of what everyone else is saying, lol.

Corbet's is the worst family run business I have EVER Dealt with. They lie and rip you off like crazy! They don't know anything about the products they are selling, and therefore make up prices. The conditions that the animals live in at the store makes me sick. The birds, rats, puppies, and kittens live in cramped cages, and have no toys to play with. how do you expect your puppys behaviour to be when it is in a cramped cage for weeks with nothing to play with? While at the store I overheard the owners son stating that they are losing customers, it's obvious why!
. Please report this to the humane soceity so they can be investigated. For the safety of the pets there at this time and for future pets living there.

The last time I went to Corbets Pets was the location on techumseh when it was open. I went to buy rats (kept next to the puppies) and when the worker put the rat cage down on the puppy cage the puppy jumped up to sniff. The worker made a threatening hand gesture to the puppy. Like 'im going to backhand you' and gave the dog a mean face. I was disturbed but I regret not telling him off.

I also found the other location to be disturbing and I am glad that poor african grey isn't there anymore. I hope someone responsible bought it from them. It was in the room with the rodents for so long, with only 2 toys and its feathers continued to fall out. They still were selling it for over a thousand dollars while it's health diminished. Such a bird needs to be kept in a bigger cage, with better care.

I have gone into Corbrets many times and always found it dirty, the workers too busy to talk, and AFRAID of dad. They run ads that get you to come and then have never honored an ad that got me there. I will never go into the store again and will send everyone I can to their competition.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Libra

Is a relationship getting dull and predictable? If so, it's time to inject some spontaneity into it, preferably by doing things on the spur of the moment and taking a few risks. Maybe you should go out for a meal for a change. There could also be a surprise in store when you realize you're attracted to someone who's totally different from your usual type.
