The cat was probably fed the tainted wheat and rice gluten

Come on, a lot of these people believe that a "virgin" gave birth to a man that changed water to wine, multiplied loaves of bread and fish, walked on water, and then came back from the dead. Don't put belief in a cat-dog past them!

Wow, that's funny. You know what else sounds pretty crazy? That the U.S. astronauts went to the moon in the 60s, that Hitler brutally murdered millions of Jews in concentration camps during WWII, and that terminal cancer patients sometimes fully recover. Keep an open mind--sometimes the truth is pretty unbelievable.:)

OK, There is proof that astronauts went to the moon (Look at the geology of the rocks brought back), proof that Hitler's regime killed millions of jews (just ask a survivor or visit a camp where it occured), proof that cancer patients, although having dismal odds (but do have odds), recover (go talk to a oncologist and statistician sometime). Yet, when asked for one shred of evidence from a religious person all you get is a rambling of this thing called faith. Sounds like a fairytale to me.

Typical Chinese redirection away from the wheat-gluten scandal.
I am looking forward to the public relations efforts that will be made as time draws nearer to the Olympics. We are in for a ride! No one is better at this sort of thing.

Im with Sean on this one...I gotta question for the "believers" how come when Jesus died he got up and walked out of his tomb with his dead body but, when we die we live the flesh behind? dont tell me because he's the son of god blah blah blah, the fact remains he was a man of flesh and bones yet, this dead flesh came back to life? and how come when we die we gotta leave this beautiful place and go to some fairtale outerspace place? besides your leader has anyone else yet to die and come back and say "man that heaven is off the hook, wait till you get there its soo much better!" NOT! keep up the faith, cats really can give birth to dogs.

It is impossible for a cat to give birth to a dog. Even if a canine embryo was implanted in a cat, the gestation period, not to mention the size, would be all wrong. The cat most likely gave birth to an odd looking kitten, or someone put a very small breed of puppy in the maternal nest to pull a hoax.
Since this melamine contamination of animal feeds in China to boost the protein content by giving a false reading has come to light, I would be skeptical of any stories coming from that neck of the woods.

Oops, I stand corrected on gestation lengths:
The larger the animal, the longer the pregnancy

Elephant 22 months ( 660 days )
Horse 11 months ( 330 days )
Cow 9.5 months ( 285 days )
Human 9 months ( 275 days )
Sheep 4.5 months ( 144 days )
Pig 4 months ( 114 days )
Dog 2 months ( 61 days )
Cat 2 months ( 61 days )
Rabbit 1 month ( 31 days )
Mouse 3 weeks ( 20 days )
But it is still not feasable because of the chemical differences in the wombs of dogs and cats. The cat womb would reject the dog embryo as a foreign object.

Hello Looter and Sean P,
Yes Jesus did rise from the dead, and there is NO one more awesome and amazing. Yes he does heal of diabetes, cancer, blindness, etc till today.
I am a medical doctor (oncologist; what odds:) and I also have a PhD, but I guess that would be too much to expect you to believe. I love it!
You both sound like you are interested in knowing Jesus. I hope He reveals Himself to you soon.
God bless you both

There was a story in The National Enquirer many years ago about a woman who gave birth to a puppy. The magazine article included a photo of the couple's dog and quoted the husband as saying that the dog took care of things while he was gone.

Hello CoG. I'm finding it hard to believe that there are no odds of survival for anyone you diagnose with terminal cancer. So i guess those that do survive are true acts of god. And also all those cured of diabetes, cancer, blindness, etc.. But one question, why wont god help amputees? Not one amputee has regrown a single limb or appendage although I'm sure some have prayed just as hard as some one with diabetes, cancer, or blindness. It is that god hates amputees? I bet he does. Amputees and midgets.

SeanP,

God doesn't hate amputees. Jesus healed a man with a withered hand, as well as a cripple in Bethseda. You are right that such miracles are less common today. I think the reason may be related to the fact that such miracles are so striking and therefore the possibility of occurence is harder to believe. Jesus said: "If you ask a mountain to move, it will move, if only you believe and have faith" (paraphrase). In essence, we are the limiting factor.

Sasha: the internet is indeed growing rapidly and becoming a commodity. However, internet access is still heavily determined by socioeconomic status. And yes I've witnessed miracles, I'm a medical doctor, and I'm often embarrassed by the number of degrees and accolades I have. I'm not a millionaire, but we both personally know several. It's not that hard.

God bless you

Show me the amputees! Just show me one. Show me a person who had grown an arm back. From the elbow will do, I don't need the whole arm. Then I will believe that god does not hate amputees.
