This is a story link about the world's oldest living 2-faced cat. His owner saved him when he was brought in to be euthanized as a 1-day old kitten. He just turned 12 this month and is crazy looking, but so cute, too.

My cat, Gravy, likes q-tips, too. He grabbed one that fell on the floor and started tossing it around and catching it. When it ended up under the edge of the bathmat he went crazy and flung himself on it and started kicking the snot out of it. Later, I had to take it away when he decided to eat the cotton off the tips.
My mom had a cat that loved cooked broccoli. She would beg for it and if you left your plate unattended, she'd steal the broccoli right off of it.
that is funny. THESE sweet little animals are just nothing but a blessing.

Wow, LEEANN, those were something. To think that one brain controls both faces is pretty amazing, too.

Here's a cute video of some kitties modeling homemade Halloween costumes for all you crafty cat lovers out there:

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

It's going to rain all week here. My cat is rather offended by this weather, but he still likes to get out in the yard for a bit. Later he comes back in with damp and curly belly fur and small twigs, leaves or other assorted debris that I get to groom of his furry hindquarters.

aww those were so cute. However my cat would have that torn apart in 20 seconds. Your cat sounds cute and sweet. My cat HATES outside.

That is so adorable TrilbyKat, thanks so much. Loved her
little Halloween outfit! Not normally in agreement with
dressing up pets, but can see she is really loved.

Thanks! I understand about how you feel about dressing up pets. My cat, Gravy, does not enjoy it at all. I know, because I put a little reindeer suit on him for a family Christmas picture one year and though he was sweet about it, I felt like a heel because I could tell he didn't really like it. I'll never do that to him again. He has also has managed to remove and lose every collar he's ever had, so he seems to enjoy being au naturel only.

When I was a kid I would attempt to dress up our Persians. Amazingly, one of the cats really enjoyed it and would pose for the camera in a little velvet cape and tiara and some of my other creations. I think she especially loved all the attention. That's pretty unusual for a cat I realized later.

I wonder if hairless cats need sweaters in colder weather, though, like some dogs do?

I'm happy to see this thread still alive!

Molly and Nigel are doing very well and are still very active. If I take the luxury of sleeping in Molly will jump up on top of me and "MEOW" all over me 'till I get up. And Nigel likes to sit on my lap and watch tv with me, but only if I have his favorite blanket for him to lay on.

Nigel will sit at the back door and meow untill I let him out, no sooner do I get sat down that he's at the front door wanting in. I think he enjoys tormenting me, LOL. And they both love "tummy noogies"

Take care cat lovers.

Merry Catmouse everyone! Here is one of the most adorable kitten videos I've ever seen:

http://www.wimp.com/cutestkitten

She is just too cute! Hope all your purry furries are happy and you are all warm and safe with them.

Wow, gungafin, you may get a lot of little Polydactals from your litter (ha ha - my spell check suggests Pterodactals for that) and those extra little toes should make it easier to find homes for them. Hope she doesn't decide that under your Christmas tree is a good place to give birth.=)

MPMARTIN - glad to hear Molly & Nigel (love those names) are doing well. Man, if I tried to give Gravy tummy noogies I'd have a lovely collection of teeth & claw imprints in my hand. At least he loves to be brushed and petted everywhere else. Maru has a cute new video out of him getting brushed and he loves to have his tummy done. Gravy has the cutest white belly ringlets, too, that I just want to pet so badly. Oh well.

Have you seen the 2 latest videos from Simon's Cat? There's a kitten added now. That artist knows cats, that's for sure. They are hilarious.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
