My dog's ears are ate up with fly bites. We bought some bronco at walmart.. but it doesn't seem to help! Someone please help!
Call your vet and do not buy anything from Walmart. As a tech I cannot even begin to tell you the horrors I have seen from products from places like Walmart. Saving money is great trust me I understand but would you buy a product that is not regulated from a discount sore or a product from your vet that is very closely regulated and backed by a pharm. company? Again get to a vet before this problem gets worse. It could be ringworm (fungus), mites, or mange. Yes some types can be transferred to humans.

I'm in 4th grade and working on my science fair project. In my project I am comparing how dog saliva or sanitizer reacts to human germs and bacteria. Will you be able to help me in my research, as an expert, by answering a few questions?
Does dog saliva actually heal and/or fight bacteria?
What makes it heal and/or fight bacteria?
Do different dog breeds have different antibacterial agents?
Could it help fight germs and bacteria in humans? Why?
Thank you for your time! I find this subject extremely interesting.
It is actually a very interesting topic we have talked about a lot before at the veterinary I am a Vet. Tech. at. My two main passions in life are children (My son is 10) and animals. Here is a site link that may help you out. We recommend it to clients as a very good source is information.

Another good site is the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) They have lots of good studies on just about every topic.
Here is a fun topic we discuss a lot as well is the fact that as far as I have seen no one knows how a cat purrs. Feel free to e-mail me pookieleigh06@yahoo.com if you have any questions that I may be able to help with.
