does anybody know where i can get a healthy teacup yorkie for a price that is reasonable? why does everyone want to sell a yorkie puppy for $700.00 and above? dont you think that is an outrageous price!!!!!!

you can go to a shelter or a yorkie rescue for a teacup yorkie.....they can't guarantee their health but so many of them are great dogs...spay and neuter

There is NO such thing as Teacup or Toy Yorkie. That is a term that puppy mills use to get people to buy their puppies. Some Yorkies are smaller than others but they are not classified as anything other than Yorkshire Terriers. Go have a look at the AKC standard for a Yorkie.

Teacup yorkie is a slang word used just as you said by puppy mills and i agree they are Yorkies and thats it......I don't need to look at the AKC standards I already know......AKC is useless anyway! They are one big joke! |

There is a such dog (teacup yorkie).My aunt had one that weighed 2.2lbs. that drank and ate from a teacup every meal.We called him Mr. Lipton.

Thats right,when my uncle sent me a teacup great dane and a teacup st.bernard we bred them an come up with a teacup great bernard.we then had 19 puppies in which our momma cow mothered 7 of them and our jackass took care of 2. they all grew up to be very good pets.
