Go Merry Lynn!! You are a rockstar, and such a great example for other moms out there, needing but missing the financial help from fathers while raising their children. Good for you! So proud.:)

Wish this Judge had taken over my case and ordered that. My daughter is 21 now and still owed over $100,000 in back support. DCSE has droped the case because she aged out of the system...

It is a shame it went on this long with no prosecution at the state level.
Maybe this will encourage our Commonwealths Attorneys to go after these scofflaws who impregnate and run.
Seize their assets to cover what they owe.

I don't know how it works, but I hope he has to pay the state back for any subsistance that the mother had to receive from the state due to his lack of responsibility.

What a real scumbag. He should be ashamed of himself and to have the balls to bring his "other family" with him well thats just selfish of him.If i were his daughter i would turn my back on him the same way he did to me and be done with him. He surely does'nt deserve the title "dad".

Our WHOLE system is broken, not just the DCSE. That is wthe reason so many people don't want ANY MORE of their money going to support disfunctional gov't organizations. Wake up folks, our money is best kept in our own pockets vs being given to the "system" to be doled out as the inept determine is best.

I am very happy for this mother and her children, but this justice isn't the norm. I hope NBC 29 continues to monitor this, as this dirtbag is likely to disappear again vs paying the tab. Hope his new wife and kids are proud of him!

He should be prosecuted for using false social security numbers as well. If memory serves me right that is a felony--- a favorite trick used by our millions of illegals. Did he pay taxes on his hidden money? If not the court should contact the Criminal Investigation Division of the Internal Revenue Service. Learn how to use the system and this nonsense will come to a screaming halt.

You are exactly right!!!! It is the taxpayer who often pay when deadbeats don't.

This story is only half true - I looked up the facts! This guy had paid for 10 years. There is only a few years he couldn't/didn't pay. The news is salacious and misrepresentaion of the facts .. Imagine that though the news media being wrong. I sure hope you people never have to be proven innocent.

Daily Horoscope for May 26

Leo

Try not to take on too much work today, otherwise you'll make a rod for your own back and not be able to finish everything you started. Maybe you're being too ambitious about what you can do in a short space of time, or perhaps you have something important to prove. If you do run out of time, try not to cut corners because that will lead to more work in the end. It is better to leave something unfinished and tackle it again tomorrow than to do it in a tearing hurry and then realize that you haven't done it properly.
